His favorite players are Yao, Anthony Davis and Porzingis.

He eats seven meals a day, so when he gets to the NBA he will be more like Muresan than Shawn Bradley.  Right now, he is a thin Bradley.

I have given up on players taller than 7’3. Theyre not useful

Ralph Sampson wasn’t bad, he was 7-4

Rick Smits, very good player for many years. Yao, hall of famer. Sampson, pretty good but for the whole drug scene. Kid at UCF Tacko Fall looks to have NBA ability.

I get the injury concerns, and frankly this Bob Bob kid looks terrible on video. Weird body, can’t run at all. But to say ALL players over 7-3 aren’t usefull is baloney.

All those players are from the past, do you really think I don’t know who Yao is?… the game has evolved.

I will not change my mind until I actually see one of these awkward tall players ball in the current NBA.

Look up video of him playing. I hope the kid has wonderful things happen for him in his life.  It is a good thing he can dunk without jumping, because he can’t.  It looks like it hurts to run.  More of a shuffle.

There really is nothing of a human interest story here.

When you can only count a handfull of guys about 7′ 2" that ever made an impact, it tells you how rare it is to have a guy that big that has the run and jump skills to keep up.

He should team up with Bol Bol, Manute’s kid, and own the local beach volleyball circuit.

Good to see he is being given time to develop and his long term well being is being looked after and there is a clear plan to bulk him up. Also with his father having been a basketball player, he has some pedigree and isn’t just a very tall kid some has discovered and has tried to turn into a basketball player.

A bit worrying is the comment he may only ever be able to play 20mpg as that could be a big downside to his potential.

Just watched highlights of him and sweet mother my back hurts when I watch him move.  I wish him the best, the kid does not look healthy and hopefully this year of focusing on his health will help him put on weight and move better.

I am with you.  I hope athletics and diet help this kid improve his life, but he is not a pro basketball prospect.  Go look at other 7 foot plus players – high recruits or current pros – when they were 15 and no one shuffes around life that.  I feel bad for him, actually.  That height usually just comes with health burdens, not big paychecks.

He is eating TONS of pasta.

That will NOT be good for his health.

Carbs, like pasta, turn into SUGAR.

He needs to go PRIMAL and eat mostly veggies along with grass fed meats and healthy fats.

He needs to burn FAT and ketones — NOT SUGAR.

    That and strength training.

The kid could really mess up his health.

He is 7-7 or 7-8 in NBA height. The 7-6 is his height without shoes on.
