 I don’t understand why people think they can talk crap to pro-athletes without some kind of retaliation.  Okafor should have walked away though because you never know what could happen in a situation like that.

 Avoid the clubs and in Boston the population is smaller but if you do research Massachusetts is the most violent state in the northeast, a lot of years running.  The guy was baiting him. Paul Peirce issues started in the club, Aaron Hernandez issues started in the club with gang members. Hernandez went on to kill a friend and shoot another because he sprayed and killed the two from the original club incident. Please guys avoid these clubs. Bring the girls to the hotel. Lay low.

 It is the truly brave man that can turn the other cheek and walk away without incident.   There is no real value in knocking out a loudmouth clown.  Now he will need to spend many hours and dollars in court rooms and answer 10,000 questions about an incident that never would’ve happened had they just walked away.  It’s easier said than done to just walk away but that what makes it brave.

 It is the truly brave man that can turn the other cheek and walk away without incident.   There is no real value in knocking out a loudmouth clown.  Now he will need to spend many hours and dollars in court rooms and answer 10,000 questions about an incident that never would’ve happened had they just walked away.  It’s easier said than done to just walk away but that what makes it brave.

I’m not ready to conclude one way or other based on current video that outs there, but not sure everyone should just immediately conclude that okafor was acting in defense. The vid shows him being louder, more aggressive and approaching and striking the other people, not other way around.

 what okafor did was assualt, plain and simple and he’ll fined, suspended and possibly sued by the victim. Anyone on here defending him is a moron.

 There has got to be more to the story than a fan simply yelling that the "76ers suck"(according to TMZ).  I mean good gracious, talk about thin skinned if that is all that it took.

My only explanation is he was drinking alcohol (which, who of us didn’t when we were 19?).  The drinking may explain why he was so easily provoked if that is indeed all that happened.  Will be interesting to see what comes out of this.
