I’ve never been a Clippers fan until Blake & Paul got there ..it was an added plus when Doc became coach!! With the additions they made this summer . I feel they r a point guard away from winning multiple rings..Don’t get me wrong Chris Paul is a major major talent 1 of the nba’s 10 best.. The guy is a multiple all star, stars in commercials with his twin brother , multi millionaire and his son looks like a mini version of him.. And what father doesn’t want his boys or girls to like exactly like them?? That means your gf,wife,mistress,1 night stand or trick is very faithful!!  1 thing about Paul nobody mentions is how great of offensive talent he is!! He can score off the dribble straight line mid range ,in the paint,he gets to the line .. That’s y Doc should move take the ball out of his hands and him to shooting guard .. And take advantage of his ability to score in bunches!!  Paul averaged19 points last season and the move to Sg will increase his average by 10 points!! There have been so much talk of trading jamaal Crawford ..use Crawford to get a pass first pg don’t look to score but wants to average 8 to 15 assists a game..trade Crawford for Rubio, MCW or Andre Miller!!

No. The Clippers are an effective bench and athletic wing slasher away from winning a title.

Lance Stephenson might have solved both those problems at once.

For a while I’ve tried to figure out what they’re missing. On paper they look like champions, but they’re just not that close. I thought it was outside shooting, they got Reddick, and they still didn’t get there. Is it the slasher they need or is there a flaw in one of the big three or the way they coach. Obviously DeAndre is awful at free throws, but that isn’t enough to bring a team down that far. Chris Paul is more than excellent)not his fault). What do they need?

Chris Paul should name his next kid Cliff. Just for the heck of it. He’d be so popular. And Cliff Paul would be real.

Chris Paul is definitely too small to play SG. He’s also too contributive to be SG

Because that’s what you want. Take the NBA’s best pure playmaker and instead turn him into an Iverson type gunner. I’m sure that would be the best use of his talents and best for the clippers in general.

Curry seems to do just that at PG. Hmmm. Paul isn’t a scorer like that. Interesting thought though. I do think Paul does need to take it up a notch at PG if they want to beat the Spurs/Warriors in the playoffs.

He’s been such a great player & a class act for so long & for him to knock out the defending World Champs with that off balance shot confirmed his greatness… I still don’t know what happened against the Rockets… I think the whole World was looking forward to seeing an Epic Western Conference Finals between the Clippers & the Warriors but it was not to be… I don’t want to take anything away from the Rockets, they had a Great season & the addition of Lawson to go w/ Beverly makes them So strong but the Clippers size against the Warriors up tempo attacking style & the dream match up of Steph Curry going head to head w/ Chris Paul had Every NBA fan in the World drooling!

That being said – and with utmost respect for your opinion – I think you have a Hall of Fame PG & an All Time great leader in Chris Pail so would not mess w/ that… You really have a great core, a Legit "Big 3" & that’s the hardest part, if you have that "Big 3" you can add pieces & contend for a Ring Every year….

I am SO excited about the Western Conference this year b/c you have Several teams w/ a "Big 3" – the Awesome World Champion Golden State Warriors have Curry,Thompson & Green…" (& they are SO young! G.S. really did it right!), the afore mentioned Clippers w/ Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan & Blake Griffin, the Rockets join the mix w/ a Big 3 of James Harden, Dwight Howard & Ty Lawson & of course the 5 time World Champion Spurs w/ Tim Duncan, Lamarcus Aldridge & Kawhi Leonard & of course perennial contender OKC w/ Serge Ibaka, Russell Westbrook 7 Tim Duncan!

I’m getting so excited just writing these names!!! I know that for the fans of those teams none of you want 7 games series, lol… But as a basketball purest & soemone who just loves the game & wants to see its popularity grow – I am Praying that ALL the top teams enjoy 100% perfect health & I hope we get to see 7 game series in Every round! Good luck to everyone’s teams & have a happy, healthy 2015 / 16′ season! & keep Chris Paul at PG – u have one of the Best Coach / PG duo’s in Chris Paul & Doc Rivers… 🙂

Chris Paul is very popular, and off the floor he’s friends with a lot of NBA players. But how can you say a "class act"???? He’s one of the biggest whiners/floppers I’ve ever seen no matter the sport,AND I’m a soccer fan. Whining and flopping is equivalent to cheating in my opinion, and that’s not a class act.

The Clippers have taken the liberty of loading up at nearly every position coming off the bench. The key for them is not a certain player but a type of player. They need a player that’s a grinder that just wants to win a Championship. I don’t know how they missed on David West as him and Blake would have been great together. Matchup problems every night and he was way cheaper than Jordan. Nonetheless I think guys like Lance Stephenson and Josh Smith bring them a certain edge that they need to win those close games they keep losing. I think their past teams have just been too soft. You need toughness to get stops in the playoffs and that’s what it takes to win games. Offense isn’t really the issue with them. Its stopping people. Lance and Josh are both big time defenders at their positions that don’t hurt you on offense and Smith provides flexibility due to being able to play 3 and 4.
