Let’s say a team like Philadelphia or Boston offered the Bucks a collection of Lottery Picks for Jabari Parker, would they at the very least listen to their offer?

If Philly or Boston offered the Bucks a high lottery pick in 16′ (Via Lakers/Nets) and a slew of unprotected 1st Round Picks in 17′ and 19′ would the Bucks bite?

Parker is a great prospect, and I’d totally understand it if this question comes off as ridiculous

I would really just like to know what people think about a player like Parker’s trade value, I know he’s still super young and talented, but could the Bucks trade him and build around MCW/Middleton/Giannis/Monroe

The Bucks are a small market team. Right now they have Giannis who is an international prospect so there is no regional loyalty there and Jabari is a Chicago guy so he is still relatively close to home.

If I were the Bucks I would try to hold onto these two for the entirety of their career no matter what it takes. Everyone else is fair game to get these two the money they need to stay.

Edit: Plus I don’t see Giannis turning into a all-star scorer. I see him more as a Kirelinko type player (which is a great player, but not a #1 scoring option). Parker has the potential to be a true number 1 scorer for this franchise.

as the old proverb says, wise man build his house on a rock. Foolish man build his house on the sand, where there is no foundation. Giannis is a rock, MCW is the sand, and Jabari is the bricks.

I think the biggest part of rebuilding is knowing what part of the rebuild you are in. Jabari wants to be there (big deal) and they are on the ascent. I would want a player instead of picks that aren’t going to be as valuable with parker on their side. Tough to see anything happening.

Giannis and Jabari have the ability to play the 2 forward spots as a positionless duo.

What Jabari misses in defensive aptitude, Giannis will cover with his huge wingspan.

Same for Giannis and his ability to be a clutch time scorer, Jabari has that covered.

These two will be great together, and hopefully Milwaukee can keep them together, because we all want to FEAR THE DEER!

For some teams moving out someone for several high picks would work but the Bucks have too much depth already.  Monroe and Middleton have big contracts, Parker and Antetokounmpo will play big minutes, and I guess MCW starts with them.

That leaves the bench of Vasquez, Mayo and Henson as the main backups, while they still have Bayless, Ennis, Vaughn, Ingliss, Copeland and one of the Plumlees.

If Vaughn and Ennis show, in small minutes, some great potential maybe the Bucks can add their own first rounder to them and trade that package to a rebuilding team for another star veteran.

I am sure that Milwaukee will build around Parker for a few more seasons, and unless he gets injured again the Bucks will be his team, especially on offense.

It is interesting to come up with a trade that the Bucks would accept.  The 76ers certainly could make a big offer.

Bucks have a lot of positionless players. It could make them incredible on defense. Monroe and Parker break from that mold. If they could get Ben Simmons, another positionless player that would fit interestingly into their system, they’d make that move. However, whoever takes Simmons will prefer Simmons. I just don’t see any scenario where Parker fields them an equal return. Injuries lower your league value.

Every team realizes now that No NBA team has Ever won a Title w/o a Combination at least One franchise piece (MVP caliber, Super Star Level, Hall of Fame Level) & sometimes Two of those guys #1 & #2 option w/ a All Star caliber #3 option – or the Superstar #1 w/  an All Star calliber #2 & a #3 option but it must be some combination of that rubric…. So the question to always ask is which player or players can reach that level….

Milwaukee has been SO bad for So long so it is Very impressive what they accomplished in the last year or so…. Remember in the last Dozen years the Bucks have ONE winning season – One… & for all the ish Phila takes they have Only been rebuilding for the last Two years & it was Minnesota who finished w/ the worst record last year & it was Milwaukee who finished w/ the worst record in 2014…

So here is the question we should be asking & I know it’s a sensitive question b/c the fans in Milwaukee have been suffering so long & they Deserve a winning team but did the Bucks get good TOO fast???

I know that sounds Nuts but Everyone in the NBA realizes that Only a Franchise player (or Two) will lead you to the promised land… So the question becomes of the prospects on the Bucks roster who do we identify as the future Franchise pieces & who are the future All Stars (one level below the Superstar / Franchise Piece level)???

I Like the Greek Freak a lot but he’s Not a franchise piece – he’s just not, he doesn’t block shots, he’s not a center, I would put him at a potential All Star level – Here are his averages after 2 years: 9.8 pts, 5.6 rebounds, 2.3 ast. 0,9 blocks, 46% FG% – Giannis had excellent growth his 2nd year, which is a Great piece but not the Main piece…

So what about Monroe? He is a Very good Center prospect, good defensive player, reliable scorer & rebounder but Drummond was the Super Star potential & that’s why Detroit kept him so I don;t believe Monroe is at that level but I think he’s an excellent #2 or #3 option for that team – potential All Star calliber or very close – Monroe was a Major signing for the Bucks & it really Shocked people around the League & signaled that the Bucks were a real up & coming team…

Next is MCW – I never liked MCW in Phila & IMO the Bucks should have held onto that Lottery pick… No one talks about this but b/c Jennings wanted out or the Bucks were not willing to sign him it really put the Bucks in a tough position b/c I LOVED the Bucks moving forward with Jennings – he is a Def All Star level #2 or #3 option that we talked about but if you have to lose him then aquiring a Lottery pick is a HUGE assett even if it is an Unknown… People will argue that you get MCW right now & he’s just a step below Jennings but I disagree. I think it is a Big drop off from Jennings to MCW. His #’s in Phila were inflated & he is a Terrible "on ball" or man defender… Imagine if that Lakers pick turns into Jamal Murray at #4 thru #8? I’d much rather get my hands on a Murray or some other potential star high in the Lottery than take MCW who IMHO has a ceiling of Just Average & is a Major liabilty on Defense…

That leaves Jabari Parker & as bad as the Bucks have been for as long as they have been bad it’s hard to believe that Parker is really the Only potential "Franchise Piece" that they have but I do believe that he is… I really like him a lot when he’s healthy… He is a legit, reliable 20 & 10 guy… I laugh when I hear fans or scouts or talking heads criticize players like Jabari Parker or a Jahlil Okafor b/c they don;t jump out of the gym but b/c of AAU ball there is ZERO mystery how the top players in each generation measure up b/c they have been playing against each other since 8th grade & players like Parker & Okafor have Consistently Dominated their age group & as they progress in the NBA they will Dominate during their Prime years (24 – 29)… People talk like Averaging 20 & 10 is ordinary when it is Extraordinary… Parker is a stud & b/c he is consistent it will Elevate the games of the other players including an MCW… So I really like the Bucks Big 3 of Parker as the #1 option, Giannis as the #2 option & Monroe as the #3 (this is why the Monroe signing was so big – you don;t want to be forced to rely on mcw….

As far as "Trade Value" for Parker – the Only pick I would even consider (as long as we are just talking about Draft picks in 2016, 17 or 18) would be the 2016 #1 pick & Only if it meant Ben Simmons – Simmons would be the Only guy & even then it’s not an easy decision b/c this young Bucks nucleus is ready to start winning right now… (sorry for the long post)

Most people compare Jabari to scorers like Carmelo Anthony and Glen Robinson, who I always loved as scorers but they never really struck me as the Guys leading teams to championships, Bucks fans have to contribute their success to Ray Allen and Sam Cassell, no doubt the Big Dog was a great 2nd or 3rd option but the Bucks never reached the finals with that big 3 and eventually had to trade Ray Allen to Seattle, Sam the Man was always so under rated and under valued

Melo’s best years are clearly behind him and his playoff success or lack there of is historically documented, I’m a big Melo fan but all he really does is score 1vs1 and rebound the ball well occassionally(usually offensive rebounds but he tries to bang every once in a while) No one pegs Melo as a future NBA Champion and Melo is Jabari Parker’s absolute ceiling

As much as we all love and highly value Prospects with the potential to become High Volume Scorers, we have to buy some of those factors into prospective, the Bucks definitely have a great young nucleus and I’m not suggesting they tinker with their roster dramatically, but Jabari didn’t play last year and they still had a very solid season, they added a post player in Monroe and resigned Middleton to start at SG/SF, Parker would be their Starting SF/PF or become a super 6th man if Kidd envisions him their next year and beyond

Im interested in what the future holds for the Bucks and Jabaro Parker

People love empty stats. That’s why Kevin Love is a super star.

People would rather build a franchise around an empty stats guy than somebody who doesn’t dominate fantasy basketball.

I doubt very much they would even consider trading him but they would virtually want a guaranteed top pick given Jabari’s upside. Even if the pick turned out to be say 3rd pick in a draft there could be a fair fall off from the likes of the very elite top guy or guys.

Philly are rebuilding via draft and could possibly offer a very high almost guaranteed pick but Boston would be mid first rounders which I doubt John Hammond and Jason Kidd would want.

Overweight 6’8" power forward coming off an ACL? What’s not to love?

Did you guys see how skinny he looks wearing a corset to pull in his fat rolls and man boobs?

Sullinger also likes to photograph himself wearing a corset-style shirt.

Any slob can look fit with one of those on.

Personally, I think NBA JUNKIE hit the marks pretty well here. I think from watching Jabari play basketball, the Melo ceiling is also farely rational. What I cannot watch, is Jabari Parker the person. Is a true basketball junkie? Does he want to get the greatest player? How does he practice/work? Does he dominate the after practice one on games? Etc etc. We try to judge a players "desire", "heart" "motor" but I think only someone close to him who knows him can judge this. SO, if I’m guaranteed Ben Simmons and get can a shot at DeAndre Ayton? Hmmm. I think Ben Simmons alone makes this close? But a slew of lotto picks? Man that’s tough.
