Thought this would be an interesting debate, position head to head matchup, who is the better long-term prospect?

C| Skal Labissiere v. Bam Adebayo… Skal. IMO got NBA superstar written all over him.

F| Ben Simmons v. Harry Giles… Ben. Best matchup but Ben already got a knack for making his teammates better.

F| Jaylen Brown v. Josh Jackson… Josh. 2nd best matchup behind Ben & Harry, Josh is more versatile, can really pass the ball, and if my man Fran Fraschilla thinks he’s better than Andrew Wiggins right now, eventhough I dont agree, it still means something that he even said that.

F| Brandon Ingram v. Jayson Tatum… Jayson. Duke is one lucky school. Tatum can score the ball at will.

G| Jamal Murray v. De’Aaron Fox… De’Aaron. I know Jamal is better now and will be a hell of a college player too, but De’Aaron got a more defined position and nba athleticism.

    G| Malik Newman v. Malik Monk… Monk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Y_EQF9_ruY

G| Dwayne Bacon v. Rawle Alkins… Rawle. Both are great competitors but I can’t think of the last high school senior who just straight up just wants to win more than Rawle.

    Who do you guys got?

When did Fran Fraschilla say that about Josh Jackson? All I saw was this tweet about Josh plays like Andrew Wiggins without drifting in and out of games.

But I agree with everything, except for the Ben Simmons vs Harry Giles. Giles is just that amazing as a scorer with that size and explosiveness. Also, Murray vs Fox is more of a toss up but I do like the defined role we know about Fox since he has that size for the position, explosive athleticism, and passing ability.

Class of 2016 is a generational class.

I remember tweeting again about how Josh just is more impressive to him, idk where that tweet went though. I agree Murray vs Fox is a toss up, but we will see how Murray can develop his PG skills and if he 6’4 or 6’5, that will matter when he is a combo guard.

I wish Dennis didnt get injured, hopefully he can bounce back.

Hard to say…Brown is like a "power wing"..and I love his game but theres not too many successful guys like him at NBA level.

Sure Lebron is….but hes kinda positionless. I’ll still go with Brown reluctantly.

Jaylen. Justise is undersized for a 3.

I agree with the OP’s decisions except for maybe Giles and Simmons.  Granted, I have had the luxury of watching Giles play a ton living here in NC, but he is pretty impressive to watch live.  Guys at his height should not have his ball skills or move as smoothly as he does, and I believe he posseses the potential to be a bit of a higher impact player than Simmons at the next level.  I will concede that right now it from everything I see that Simmons is the better player, I just think Harry may have bigger upside.

I don’t understand the Bam hype.  The guy is all motor at this point.  I think he will be a fantastic college player, just don’t see much potential for skill development, as his touch around the basked is not that good and he seems to just thrive off of overpowering oppenents and being the ultimate garbage man.  He has good rebounding instincts and is a great defender though.  I think he is a high level backup in the NBA.  He is another one I have seen play a ton.

Except Dwight is two inches taller and possesses a much longer wingspan.  While Bam is a very good athlete, he is not near the athlete Dwight is (few are).

Disagree with the Ingram Tatum one. Ingram is taller, longer, more athletic, and the better shooter. Only thing Tatum has over him is mid range shooting and post game.

It depends on what you are looking for.  While all the above observations are true, I think that Tatum is a much better scorer and has more of a knack for putting the ball in the hoop than Ingram.  I think Tatum’s scoring instincts make him an ever so slightly better prospect, and this is coming from a huge Ingram fan.

I think what really makes the 2016 Senior class special is the depth up top. There’re more guys with "top-10" talent than in most classes, and while some of those guys will fizzle out, the sheer diversity and number of legit 5-star guys makes it inevitable that the 2017 Draft will be special (plus there should be a good number of top foreign talents declaring that year).

    PG: D.Smith; D.Fox; M.Fultz (plus: L.Ball; F.Jackson; K.Simmons etc)

    SG: M.Monk; R.Alkins; J.Langford (plus: T.Ferguson; T.Battle etc)

    SF: J.Jackson; J.Tatum; M.Bridges (plus: V.King; J.Isaac etc)

    PF: H.Giles; E.Adebayo (plus: D.Davis; T.Leaf etc)

    C: T.Maker; M.Bolden (plus: U.Azubuike; J.Allen etc)

And I’d disagree with Giles/Simmons. Simmons is better now, but Giles has the upside to be one of the best prospects in the past decade or so.
