Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantThe Knicks had just hired dantoni the season before and really needed a pg who could push the pace and create shots. Rubio would have been perfect but he didn’t actually come over for 2 years and has been injury prone since. I don’t think Jennings or Evans are the types of pgs they would have been looking for.
Therefore, I will go with taj Gibson here, as that Knicks team really needed interior defense as well.

ExumInfernoParticipantRicky Rubio.
It would have been entertaining in New York. Rubio running, Gallinari shooting, Al Harrington from outside too, D Lee inside, some Nate Robinson too. Not a lot of defense, but high-scoring fun to watch play.
The next year they had all the salary room, for a max player and others, so Rubio would have been joined by more scorers to pass to.

dmo21ParticipantFor me it’s between Rubio and Jennings. They needed a point guard with some star power, and both had that. I think Jennings would have been the better choice, but I’m going to say Rubio as he’d fit in the system better.

Jr. ROXASParticipantRubio easy. Imagine how many assists he would average under D’antoni.
