Memphisboy14ParticipantAfter the Summer League I’m starting to feel as if this is going to be a pretty strong class. Obviously it’s too soon to tell but what drafts in the past 10 years do you think have been the best. For me the 3 best were the 2008, 2009, and 2010 draft classes. I would say that each of those classes produced at least 2 franchise level players just in the top 5. Personally I would say that the 2010 draft class edges out the other two. What do you think?

Memphisboy14ParticipantI take that back I just looked at all 08′, 09′, and 10′ again. The 2008 draft is the best.
Derrick Rose, Kevin Love, Russell Westbrook, DeAndre Jordan, Serge Ibaka, Brook Lopez, Robin Lopez, JJ Hickson, Nikola Pekovic, Omer Asik, Roy Hibbert, Ryan Anderson, Courtney Lee, DJ Augustine, George Hill, Eric Gordon (pre-injuries), Danilo Gallinari, Jerryd Bayless, Jason Thompson, Brandon Rush, OJ Mayo (didn’t live up to the hype but is a solid player), Marreesse Speights, and Nicholas Batum.
That was a pretty good haul.

theEDGEParticipantYou actually forgot about a second round steal if there ever was one in Goran Dragic.
and a former champ in Mario Chalmers.

Robb_CParticipant2007 High School Basketball Class has to be considered one of the best of all time most of those guys on that list were from that 07 class..

properbreaksParticipantYeah, 07 turned out to be a Super Class, but 04 and later 06 were talked about as being super classes since they were sophomores in high school. 07 wasn’t looked at that way until guys started really developing the summer before their senior year. I would have to say that they produced the best high school class in the last 10 years. The next high school classes to look out for are 13 even though everyone didn’t live up to their billings yet, and also 2016. To me the super classes out of high school the last 30 years are these classes plus, 95, 93 and the at the time, the historic class of 88 with Alonzo Mourning, Billy Owens, Shawn Kemp and Chris Jackson leading the way…

thparadoxParticipantI think 2015 will turn out to be the best draft class since that 2008-2010 period. Time will tell.

DC FrazParticipantTo me, the 2010 draft is very overrated. Outside of the top 10, there really isn’t anyone that stands out to me besides Bledsoe.
I think the 2012 class has a lot of promise. Davis is arguably a top 5 player already and Lillard is a top 4 PG. Throw in Drummond, Barnes, Green, Beal, Middleton, and some other quality role players/starters and there is good potential here.
