BleedGreen808ParticipantIt’s crazy how far Deron Williams has fallen. It used debated which point was the best, Chris Paul or Deron Williams. Ankle injuries have really taken a toll on his ability to play at a high level. I was reading on HoopsRumors that the Nets weren’t happy with his attitude or poor production. I wonder how he’ll fit in with Rick Carlisle in Dallas. We all saw the disaster that happened between Rondo and Carlisle this past year.

ChewyParticipantif I am the Heat, I am more excited about the addition of Gerald Green. The Heat’s biggest weakness was their player depth. Amare will help that depth issue too, but I think the Heat want to rely on Beasley for that 2nd unit and Green provides a saftey net for them if Beasley starts acting like a fool/ slacking off.
I can still remember a time when D-Will dominated CP3 every time they matched up. Now in recent years they have completely switched places. Really it comes down to, will Williams come into the season in shape or is he going to stay a fat, jumpshooting PG? I don’t think D-Will’s ankles can take 82 games of him playing overweight. Before the move to the Nets there were huge talks about him teaming up with Dirk, so I’m glad it’s finally happened. I still don’t think the Mavs are a playoff team in the loaded West, but he needed a change of scenery.

bmac697ParticipantDid Beasley re sign with the heat? I thought they didn’t pick up his option and is a free agent

ReturnofthelemonParticipantIf I remember right, the Heat declined the option for him this year. Either way, they added more depth to a playoff team. Not sure how the roster will end up exactly, but it’ll be somewhere along these lines:
PG- Dragic / Napier / Z. Dragic (Chalmers & Birdman might be traded due to salary issues)
SG- Wade / Johnson
SF- Deng / Winslow / Walker / Ennis
PF- Bosh / McRoberts / Haslem
C- Whiteside / Stoudemire0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/10/2015 - 1:27pm #999885

RUDEBOY_Participantas a heat fan im excited about the things might be able do,if everyone stays healthy..
everyone is writing off the amare signing..of course he’s not the same player he use to be..but he still averaged 11 pts in dallas in limited minutes and gives them someone who can score inside..something not many guys on that team can do……….

ZouldiersParticipant5 years ago, I wanted that Wade-Stoudemire combo before the big three. Still happy that we signed him and Gerald Green and possibly Marcus Thornton but lets not get carried away. If healthy, we might be the biggest threat to Cleveland in the East. I can’t wait for next season.
