Sam Presti is continuing to clear cap space and roster spots with this trade. Luke Ridnour has a non-guaranteed contract of $2,750,000 this coming season, while New Orleans adds another young wing player into the mix. Presti is looking for draft picks just as much as cap relief and roster availability, so I’d expect more OKC moves leading up into, and possibly after the draft.

After the trade fake-out earlier in the day i’m glad Lamb is getting reunited with Walker.
Should be much happier in Charlotte alongside his old buddy and not stuck behind Andre fing Roberson in the rotation.

Presti has to be so butt- hurt that he just traded one of the main center pieces of the James Harden deal for Luke Ridnour. Unfortunate ahah

Why would Presti be butt- hurt because if you look at OKC now they have a great deep team when Healthy. Enes Kanter is the best big man these guys has had and Kyle Singler is a pretty solid backup. Morrow is good and great shooter and Dion is a pretty good scorer. They also have a pick in this draft. They could also move Perry Jones because now those minutes will go to Singler. You are not going to hit on every move.

All in all this means that Presti got a 2016 2nd rounder rather then nothing I guess.
Is Barnes to be cut by the Grizzlies too?
