KINGS: Ty Lawson for 6th pick (if Muday is off board)!

 If Mudiay is off the board, why would the Nuggets do that deal? Would they want Hezonja at 6 and Payne at 7?

 If we look at what the Kings have done for the last past 5 years or so, their track record is not good at all for getting the production we believe they should have out of every point guard they have brought in. Something is really up in Sacramento with the point guard play.

If anything, Houston should try to spring a deal for him.

 Coach Karl would probably like Ty Lawson on his roster again but I agree the 6th pick might be a bit too generous for him. If tDenver were lower down in the draft then their pick and Lawson for 6th might work. 

The Kings probably want to try and compete sooner rather than later to keep DMC happy but is Lawson that much of an upgrade over Collinson I wonder.

If George Karl would like Lawson then why not 6th and Collinson for 7th and Lawson. The Kings get Lawson and Denver move up a spot in the draft to have a better pick.

One idea that occured to me is would Ty Lawson suit the Triangle in New York and the Knicks do 4th for Lawson and 7th. That way Knicks get a proven PG and still have a good pick at 7th and take say Herzonja.

Denver get 4th pick and probably have a choice of say Mudiay or Porzingis.

At 6 they want a SF because Karl plans on playing Rudy Gay a lot at PF next year, heard they are really high on Mario Hezonja and the pick likely comes down to him or Justise Winslow. If Emmanual Mudiay slips to them they will have to take a hard look at him as well, but I think he is gone by the time they pick, but Mudiay on a rookie deal is much better than paying for Lawson.

 What makes the conversation interesting to me is that each teams coach recently coached the other team. If the two teams did a deal it would be interesting to see what minor pieces moved too, if Malone and Karl tried to get some of their guys as add-ons.

1st pick is between Towns and Okafor, Lakers will pick the player that the Wolves do not.

Sixers its between Russell, Mudiay, or Porzingis. I think Hinkie will take Porzingis because Embiid’s projected start date was set back another year, so he needs a player to team with Noel down low. Porzingis is probably a better combo with Noel than Embiid ever was.
