He’s projected as a top 8 pick by most media outlets, so he’s obviously highly rated. But… I see truly elite potential with him. Forget the 6 foot 4 1/2 measurement without shoes, who plays without shoes? He has an NBA body and his height will not hinder him to effectively play the 2 or the 3.

I saw him guarding a lot of power forwards in college, so I believe he has the ability to effectively guard small forwards in the NBA.

He has a great motor, high skill level, excellent on ball and team defense, plus a great feel for the game. If I’m the Sixers, Knicks or Magic I am giving him a super long look. Especially the Magic if Porzingis is off the board. Payton, Gordon, and Winslow played together on the U-19s two summers ago and absolutely dominated en route to a gold medal.

I’ve always been a fan of him. I don’t buy the Harden or Wade comparisons, rather I see Iguodala. Winslow does a little bit of everything, good defender, can rebound, CAN shoot but isn’t a sniper, good slasher.

I see him being the type of guy that puts up 13-16 points 4-7 rebounds and 3-5 assists. So I think he’ll be a really good players.

The earliest I’d consider him if I’m a GM of all these teams is if I’m the Knicks at 4. It would be between him Porzingas and Mudiay. Not sure he’s a great fit with Orlando but wow that team could have a bunch of bulldog defenders if they do get him. Sac Town could use him but they’ve spent their last two drafts on wings plus have Rudy Gay on a big deal still. So it might simply be a matter of fit…thought that isn’t as important in the NBA as it is in NFL drafts.

I think Winslow is the second best player in the draft after mudiay. Depends on fit and whether teams think they have a need for the position or whether they regard him as highly as others. It’s all subjective

I’m not sure how Winslow could be slept on since he is projected to be a mid to high lottery pick.  Whether he goes at 4 or 8 isn’t really a big deal at all.  He is an elite prospect who, barring injury, should have a long productive career as a starter for a good team, or a high motor sixth man for a contender.  I like the Iggy comparison but Winslow is not really a shooter.

A concern that I would have as a GM, is his size.  He will not be able to finish in the NBA like he could against inferior college players.  He also is not an elite shooter, and for someone his size, I’d expect him to be one.

Things that I like about him is his motor, his defense, his attitude, and high effort level.  I love his desire and the fight that he brings in his game.

I think Justise is the most ready to compete prospect in the top 10 outside of Mudiay, He has lots of Natural athleticism that iggy has.. But he’s way more savy as a basketball player than iggy was his Rookie year.. Iggy as a Rookie was just a freak but was pretty raw, 76ers drafted him with the intention of creating in transition and his defense..the rest he figured out along the way

I like Winslow a lot but the guys ranked above him are just considered better prospects, while Winslow seems more likely to be a Deng, Iggy, Rudy Gay type player. That’s not bad and it’s needed to win but teams in the lower lottery would rather bank on superstar potential, and since most of them have been tanking it’s just not valuable to draft simply a very good player.

I think his height hurts him a bit too. His game seems more of a 3/4 but his height says more 2/3 and his playmaking and passing is still kind of unknown. Most teams don’t have anywhere near the depth and versatility of Golden State (that’s why they were champions) so things like that carry more weight. Even though he showed great flashes at Duke, he was still mostly the 4th option. With that said, I could see him being rookie of the year.

I don’t think Winslow is being slept on he is in play with the Knicks (4), Sacramento (6), and Denver at (7) which I think is his floor. I think he is a future all star and will be the 2nd or 3rd best wing in this draft (I consider D’Angelo Russell to be more of a long term wing than PG and have him #1 and can’t decide between Mario Hezonja and Winslow so have them as my 2/3 guys because it depends on what you favor more of an offensive or defensive guy.) Winslow has all the physical tools (strong, athletic, quick) and is going to be a lockdown defender on the wing. I think he will develop his offense and be a great two-way player in the league. I have seen some people compare him to Kawhi Leonard, which I like because he also had to develop his offense but I don’t like because Kawhi was a PF in college and had to transition to the wing. I think the best comparison for him is Jimmy Butler who also needed to develop on the offensive end to get to the level he is at today. He will be a future all star.

Shooting Guard is, has been, and probably always will be the hardest position to find a star at, but I don’t see why Winslow can’t be one. I’m not expecting him to put up 20+ his rookie year or anything but he’s definitely got the potential and that’s enough for me. I’d love to see the Sixers trade down for more picks and grab him. I like Mudiay, Russell, and both international lottery guys, but there isn’t a huge difference between them and Winslow (or Stan Johnson) to me.
