Should Sam Hinkie trade Russell/Mudiay to the Kings?

I’m heard a rumor the 76ers are looking to trade down, something about injury concerns about Russell and a lack of outside shooting from Mudiay, they have seemed to narrow their targets to Henzonja/Payne and Porzingas for some reason(they may see Dirk 2.0 or something)
On the other front, the Kings are looking to upgrade their PG and/or PF position and are targeting Russell/Mudiay and ironically Porzingas… The Kings are very high on this deal because they want to find a 2nd Star next to Cousins and it could be one of the lauded guards at the top of the Draft…
I heard Philly wants Mclemore included but Kings are holding out hope the 76ers take a package of Staukas and the 6th pick(76ers may surprise everyone and select Porzingas or Payne if they have Staukas at SG, maybe even Oubre!!!)
I don’t know how I feel about trading down if Ben Mclemore isn’t included in the deal, Stauskas and the 6th pick doesn’t seem like enough for the rights to select 3rd in any draft, so I’m curious to see how you guys feel about this rumor…
I’m not as high on Russell/Mudiay as I should be at this point so I am open to them exploring trade down possibilities…

Trade down to 6 and get Hezonjia. Also get Nik Stuaskas, a future 2nd roud pick, and cash.
It appears that the 76ers are in Video Game Second Round Pick Beast Mode at the moment…

Correct. And all these second round picks want to play for philly because they get PT and a better chance of proving their value. It’s not a bad way of weeding out role players or even a possible starter while in rebuild mode.

lol, Scarecrow, I remember in that pre-draft game I hosted that you said there was NO way 76ers would pick Porzignis. Now Hinkie seems to be all over him.

They want to draft a face of the NBA type talent. Someone with once in a lifetime potential like Kobe, Lebron, Durant, Davis. So they will continue drafting, stashing, collecting, developing, and trading assets and players until they get a player of that caliber. Kind of ridiculous to me I feel with some good shooters around them Russell, Wroten, Mcrae, Covington, Saric, Noel, Embiid could do some serious competing immediately.
