TarHeelRavenParticipantI’m sure most of you have seen the list by now ESPN has done. It’s a pretty good list. One notable omission I think was Grant Hill’s oop in the 1991 title game versus Kansas. Obviously have to have the elevator man Vince Carter on there and the notable Stackhouse slam versus Duke in 95 at Cameron. Any other ones you guys thought should’ve made the list?

I was born in Boston, but my family moved to Mansfield/UConn in 2004. As you might imagine I’m a die hard UConn fan now too along with all my Boston teams. My friend and I couldn’t get into Gample to watch the tourny game, so we had to settle for watching it in the student union which is right across the street.
The place was jam packed with UConn students watching the game, and when James Young threw that dunk down the place exploded. The dunk was just perfect. Beat his man off the dribble, took off as the whole Connecticut team collapsed on him, and then jammed it home over one of the best shot blockers in the country. It also brought Kentuky back into the game.
I was happy to see Young drafted by the Celtics later that year.

It had EVERYTHING. Vertical, extension, distance, and he dunked ON somebody.
