Looks like they will have a pick from in the 10 to 12 range and they really need a SF

No question, Mario Hezonia if he’s still available. He’ll be everything Josh Smith was meant to be!

I’ve been watching him rain 3’s in the Euroleague lately, and is a matchup problem at both the 3 and 4 spot.

Agreed on Henzonja…also could be a good spot for Winslow even though he isn’t a great shooter. They need guys who can help change the identity of the team. Smith was a cancer and is gone. Winslow could be a really good player and I think could grow into a Jimmy Butler type guy (between last year’s version and this year’s version).

If Hezonja continues to play as he has in his last games there is no way he falls to 10 IMO.

I like Winslow. He is really athletic and as Biggysmalls said he isn’t a great shooter but he isn’t bad either.

    What about Kelly Oubre?

Kelly Oubre is a very good call and is in the Pistons’ ballpark postion in current mocks. I’d have him in the top 3 of Detroit’s targets along with Hezonja and Winslow. My only issue with Winslow is that he might be a fraction undersized for SF but his time at Duke will have taught him good defence so I don’t see that being a major issue.

Apart from those 3, I don’t see any other obvious targets unless they came up in the top 3 and maybe get a shot at Stanley Johnson. Could Devon Looney be considered more an SF than a PF, I’m not sure.

The only other thing could be if guys currently listed to go in 2016 declare this year then maybe a Daniel Hamilton or Devin Robinson could be considered.

i think kevon looney is more of a small forward than a power forward at the next level.  ucla runs a 3 guard lineup which really doesn’t show off all of looney’s skills.  he needs work on his jump shot but i think people will be surprised with his ability to handle the ball during workouts.  the guy played point guard for his high school and has shown the ability to take it from coast to coast.  i think his measurements are going to make some scouts drool because he looks really long compared to everyone else on the court.  i’d almost say he’s got a lot of aaron gordon type skills.

They might try and draft a pf in case monroe leaves. Looney, lyles, turner, portis are all possibilities if they go that route.

strong possiblity.  i’d say if the sf’s are off the table, i wouldn’t be surprised if they go that route even if monroe comes back.  their frontcourt depth is pretty weak after drummond and monroe and none of the guys listed are ready to take on a starting position in my opinion.

Monroe is good as gone. So it’s really any forward. However, best available (except C) is a good way for them to go too.

    1. Myles Turner (He’s sliding and could be a steal)

    2. Mario Hezonja

    3. Kevin Looney

    4. Justise Winslow

    5. Montrezl Harrell (he’s ready to play now)

One of these guys will available in the 10-12 range.
