The NBADRAFT.NET equivalent to social suicide: a mid-season top 25 list. It’s like asking for -10 points LOL. Anyways…if you were to rank the players 1-25 as they currently stand, here’s how I think it could go.

    1) LeBron James, CLE

    2) James Harden, HOU

    3) Anthony Davis, NO

    4) Kevin Durant, OKC

    5) Stephen Curry, GS

    6) Russell Westbrook, OKC

    7) DeMarcus Cousins, SAC

    8) LaMarcus Aldridge, POR

    9) Blake Griffin, LAC

    10) Damian Lillard, POR

    11) Chris Paul, LAC

    12) John Wall, WAS

    13) Marc Gasol, MEM

    14) Kyle Lowry, TOR

    15) Carmelo Anthony, NY

    16) Dwight Howard, HOU

    17) Dwyane Wade, MIA

    18) Kyrie Irving, CLE

    19) Tim Duncan, SA

    20) Chris Bosh, MIA

    21) Pau Gasol, CHI

I can’t appreciate your list sir, I’m sorry. Too many glaring, overwhelming holes…LeBron James should not be listed as the NBA’s 5th best player, regardless of the circumstance

     It’s an MVP ranking.

"BEST" guy in the league?  Well, Steph Curry, Davis, LeBron, Durant, and Westbrook in some order.

Top "Trade Value" would be different too.  I would say Curry and Davis are UNTRADEABLE.  LeBron too, but he is older than a lot of guys.  Wiggins has top 10 trade value.

Also, Wiggins might also be in the top 25 of "best guys" in the league.  Already.  But, the Wolves are bad which is why he is not on my list.  Similar to why Kobe is low and Carmelo is nowhere to be found.

I think there is less of a separation between LeBron and some of the other top guys this year. Durant is still a bit sluggish but he is up there talent wise with everybody.  I would STILL have Steph Curry at the top or VERY close to the top in ANY ranking.  He is just so dangerous.

Taylor, in terms of PURE TALENT I would put James Harden around 7 behind Curry/LeBron/Durant/Davis/Westbrook.  Either just ahead or just behind Chris Paul.

If this is supposed to be a MID SEASON, as in just this season ranking, then Lebron should not be #1. He has not played like the best player in the league and his team is not performing as advertised. Steph Curry or James Harden have both performed better and their teams are experiencing greater success. "Lebron James should not be listed as the NBA’s 5th best player, regardless of circumstance"   my friend, you aren’t asking for a mid-season ranking then, because that is based entirely off circumstance, and LeBron has not been the number 1 player in the league.

I’m not using this season as the only thing that goes into the ratings. If that were the case, Paul George would be the 451st best player in the NBA

      Use your head…

This season is taken into consideration, sure, but I’m also weighing every reasonable aspect to rank them.

No, LeBron hasn’t been the best THIS SEASON…he’s still the best in the NBA.

SO if this ISN’T a "Mid-season top 25", which you just stated, then why ISN’T Paul George in your list? He defiitely is a top 25 player regardless of circumstance… Don’t tell someone to use his head when you don’t use your’s.

Was that a joke? Korver is one of my favorite players, but Kobe is playing very well this year. In my opinion Byron Scott and the rest of he team is killing them. Korver is taking advantage of the system which fits him perfectly. This is an individual list not a team list.

How’s this for a thought, when was the last time a top 25 list DIDN’T have a Celtic player on it. With Kobe barely or arguably not top 25, can you imagine a league with No Celtic or Laker on it?

    First time ever?

The NBA is doing great right now, but somehow I think having a great player on Boston and LA makes the league that much better IMO.

I don’t mind the OP’s list. I 1 up’d him just because he spent his time making one.

However, I’d take Kevin Durant over James Harden every day of the week.

Anthony Davis is excellent, but he’s somewhat overrated. Below average with his back to the basket and a below average passer. He’s a defensive stat sheet stuffer, but opponents are shooting 50% against him at the rim. Is he better than DeMarcus Cousins? I don’t think so… I think it’s arguable if Davis is better than Lamarcus Aldridge.

Pau Gasol. He’s a top 15 player. I personally think he’s a better basketball player than Blake Griffin, who’s ranked 9th. Better rebounder, defender and more skilled offensively. I think Gasol, should be close to Marc Gasol.

I know his past statistics and that he’s currently playing a 3rd option role, but I think it’s arguable Kevin Love isn’t a top 25 player right now.
