ExumInfernoParticipantIt would seem that Jeff Green isn’t what the Celtics need for their rebuild, and with J Young and E Turner and even J Crowder they have his small forward spot covered, so what teams could use Green?
Memphis? Green for T Prince and a future pick.
Sacramento? Green for D Williams and a future pick.
Lakers? Green for Nash and a future first from Phoenix via L.A..
Would any team have ending contracts big enough to want to take G Wallace and J Green?
Fields, Hayes, Hansbrough to Boston and Toronto gets Green and G Wallace?
Or just for some fun for the fans, Green and Bass to Nets and K Garnett to Boston, again.

Ny2daDeathOFmeParticipantThe clippers? Not sure what they’ll offer but the clippers could use Green.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantNo one is trading a 1st round pick to Boston for Jeff Green
Hell, Cleveland and New York had to give away Waiters/Smith/Shumpert because there seems to be a high demand for picks and GM’s are not in the mood for bailing other GM’s out…Everyone should covet their draft picks and Cap space, so it seems right that teams are getting back minimal return on their bad investments…
I see Green being traded for pennies on the dollar, although he’s far better than he appears to be in Boston, and could really help out a team like Atlanta or OkC(Perkins and a 2nd???)

ExumInfernoParticipantReturning Green to OKC could work. Green and J Nelson for Perkins and Lamb, or P Jones? Nelson can’t be traded with another player for a while, but it could be two trades with Lamb for Nelson another part. Thunder get a veteran point guard for backup minutes and versatile Green who wants to not be the big star and can fit with Durant and Westbrook like he used to. Celtics get out of a year of money, and a young player.
The Hawks don’t have the right contracts to offer, Green would fit in well there but a trade is hard to figure out. The Clipers can also use Green but their first rounder has already been traded to Boston and they don’t have any expiring deals to offer, as they want D Jordan around and their other expiring contracts are too small. A three-team deal could always change things, in the next month or so maybe everyone will find out what Green is worth.

ExumInfernoParticipantShoot enough times and you have to hit a shot eventually.
Green to Memphis for Prince and a first rounder, it actually happened.
I will try to come up with a trade for Nelson or Bass now.
