dcaseParticipantA couple other people that should be mentioned for the all-american and freshman all-american teams.
3rd team all-american – Rakeem Christmas…….posting better numbers than Perry Ellis
Freshman all-american – Chris McCullough. Towns name will be put on this list based on his presaeson rank and the dominance of Kentucky, but if you look at his numbers they aren’t worthy of the freshman all-american team (8.5pts/6.3rebs). The platoon system obviously has something to do with those numbers but the reality is that McCullough is producing more.

kazamParticipantPeople may disagree with me, and I don’t really love him as a prospect, but WCS should be in contention for National Player of the Year. Some of his stat lines are just eye-popping. He is also the engine that really runs Kentucky despite the talent of the rest of their roster. WCS guards 1-5 on any given day, I have been very impressed with how impactful he is this season.

ncballerMarcus Paige doesn’t deserve to be anywhere near that list….sad for me to say as a UNC fan. If it is not position based, then Kennedy Meeks if anyone from UNC needs to be on there.
