    According to mulitple reports Furkan Aldemir is expected to sign very soon with Philadelphia…

    As it turns out the financial issues of Galatasaray of The Turkey Basketball League has yet to be resolved..And one talent is leaving the team because of the situation..Furkan Aldemir has terminated his contract with the team since he hasn’t been paid in 5 months…And sign with the 76’ers who own his rights….

    The 6’10 power forward was one of the best rebounders in Europe,he’s known for his intensity,high motor and toughness…

    He probably saw hot pitiful the 76ers have been and decided that this is the best time to come to the NBA, knowing he’ll get playing time for sure. Practically every player for the team at least gets some playing time like Drew Gordon and Jakarr Sampson.

    He probably saw hot pitiful the 76ers have been and decided that this is the best time to come to the NBA, knowing he’ll get playing time for sure. Practically every player for the team at least gets some playing time like Drew Gordon and Jakarr Sampson.

    Interested in seeing what this guy can do, but I hope he doesn’t cut in Noel’s minutes to much. He’s (Noel) has been starting to play much better lately.

    just read that he got 2 yrs of his contract guaranteed with 76’ers…the remaining yrs will be team options….

     If his European contract is hit by financial problems then having a run in the NBA will do him no harm. With the 76ers being in such a bad state and with Embiid out still, I guess he feels this is his best chance to get some playing time. Even if the team hardly wins he can put up some decent stats and get himself noticed.

    From the 76ers standpoint, they are way under cap so might as well use some money they would pay out anyway to have a look at this guy and being in their current situation they may as well role the dice on this guy.
