I thought of a 3 way deal that will help all the team’s involved…The teams involved are the Cavaliers, Celtics, and the Grizzles.

Celtics: Acquire Kyrie Irving (the type of scoring point guard they always craved, one who can shoot well and can mess with the more defensive minded Marcus Smart in the backcourt…)

Grizzles: Acquire Rondo & Dion Waiters (Grizzles get a revamped backcourt, while saving money as Rondo contract expires the end of the season and Waiter’s contract expires after the 2016 season)

Cavaliers: Acquire former Ohio State Buckeye, Mike Conley Jr & Tony Allen (Conley is a TRUE point guards, plays defense, rarely turn over the ball, and is clutch with the game on the line…Tony Allen gives the Cavs a lock down defender, and another player with Finals/championship experience)

This deal works financially on the ESPN trade machine…Click on the link below

The Grizz are playing great right now, not sure why they would mess with a good thing especially with the championship looking so open this year. Not to mention adding a player whose contract expires at the end of the season and is playing like he’s deserving of a raise.

The Cavs risk trading away a franchise talent just because they’re off to a rocky start this season, a bit of a knee jerk reaction if you ask me.

IMO the Celtics are the only ones that really benefit from this.

Having more cap space after this season will enable the Grizzles to throw a lot more money at unrestricted free agent, Marc Gasol to keep him in town much like the Heat did with Chris Bosh…If Rondo doesn’t elect to sign back with them they can go for a cheaper alternate option in Patrick Beverly or Reggie Jackson

So the Grizzlies move a pretty solid backcourt for Rondo… and he doesn’t resign they would be OK with Beverly or Reggie Jackson??? smh…

It’s worth not losing Marc Gasol, their anchor in the middle and one of the best centers in the game today…Point guards come around more often than solid centers

Grizzlies will only have 30 million in salary next season.. enough to re-sign both Gasol & Randolph

You must remember the Grizzles are a small market team, one in which at times suck with attendance…So they have to take strategic risks to stay under the cap while staying competitive…Just like the Thunder chose Serge Ibaka over Harden, the Grizzles will perphaps face the same ordeal with keeping Gasol versus Conley

This isn’t a horrible trade, Boston should look to move Rondo since they’re rebuilding. Cleveland and Memphis should just stick to their guns.

Also there difference between Rondo and Conley is minimal and swapping in Rondo for Conley would be pointless, I’d rather have Irving than Rondo if I were Memphis  just because they lack perimiter scoring and a "go-to-guy"

Rondo’s value isn’t that high considering he’ll be unrestricted next season

I’d rather have Kyrie Irving, instead of Mike Conley and Tony Allen. I don’t see why th Cavs would do that trade.

You obviously don’t know much about basketball then…You probably just go off a player’s celebrity & flashy highlights than his play…You probably think Chris Paul is better than Tony Parker…Conley is way more efficient than Kyrie, is actually a true point guard, and actually plays defense, something Kyrie does not do…As a Kyrie fan I’m not afraid to admit that Kyrie Irving isn’t ready to give up superstardom for the betterment of the team…He’s a young player in the league still trying to make a name for himself, so the Cavaliers need to accomodate him by giving him up for a more fundamentally sound team oriented point guard…Conley getting about 17 ppg, will allow LeBron & Love to still get their’s. Conley doesn’t care about accolades, unlike Kyrie who for better or worst wants to cement his name in NBA history…I could just see him now out shooting LeBron in the NBA Finals, in an effort to get Finals MVP

Irving wasn’t even considered in the Love Trade.. why do think Cleveland will even consider trading him for just Conley & Allen.. plus if you value Conley that much? why do think Memphis should trade him for a player who can’t shoot, who’s also an unrestricted FA the following year.. Conley is a bargain at 9million
