ropeParticipantIf you had to limit it to one thing, what are you looking forward to this season? As a Pistons fan, I am looking forward to Andre Drummond in his first year under Van Gundy. If he improves as much year 3 as he did year 2, I am going to be a pretty happy camper.

ropeParticipantAre you of the opinion that the Sixers ought to give Wroten the chance and see what they can get for MCW? In their position, I just might.

Lotto StudParticipantI am not at liberty to to speak down upon MCW. Just know that I’m always in favor of Wroten. They would be good together if the Sixers had more spark plugs off the bench.

ropeParticipantI am not knocking MCW. I am suggestig that the 76ers are in rebuilding mode (understatement) and his value might be pretty darn high right now. Not sure the team wants any veteran help right now, or at least it appears that way.

Lotto StudParticipantIt’s a must that they keep MCW. What message does it send to the team itself and the loyal supported outside of the current roster? They gave up on an All-Star PG in Jrue Holiday just to take Nerlens Noel technically. MCW was just an added bonus. What’s next? They give up on their consolation All-Star(ROY) PG again. I absolutely think not. Tony Wroten isn’t The Answer, but he’s damn sure close to solving the problem. "It Was Wroten" 10/20/14!
In this rebuilding stage, the only issue aside from Embiid not playing, is they lack spark plugs. MCW & Wroten can work, but granite the situation of who fills the responsibility of Wroten’s second unit duties to add spark and flare?
This year’s team needs at least 3 more high-energy booster guys off the bench in rotation if they choose to keep Wroten in the lineup next to MCW.

ropeParticipantI know it isn’t the sexiest thing about the Raptors, but I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Amir Johnson. Glue guy and, in my estimation, one of the real leaders of that team. He has really grown up since he was on the Pistons and become a true professional. Every playoff team has a guy like this. Love to watch him play.

festar35ParticipantWell being the Pacers fan I am, I would have to say the 2015 NBA draft haha.
I am going to go ahead and say Jabari Parker is the most exciting prospect for me this season. I really hope he lives up to the hype and be the awesome scoring machine for the Bucks.

ropeParticipantMy guess is Monroe will be the one who ends up as an important sub. Given the fact that he will be a free agent, he does not have room to sulk. He needs to play his butt off, no matter what his role. One of the reasons I am not a Smith fan is that I think he would go into a major pout-a-thon if he was asked out of the starting line up. No matter which one of them starts, Detroit’s front court future is Drummond. He will make life easier for either PF partner.

Memphis MadnessParticipantWinning my fantasy league for the third time in four years.
I also drafted some guys I am looking forward to watching this year like Jabari, Giannis, Wiggins, and Marcus Smart. I also have Chris Paul and Dwight Howard (two fringe MVP candidates) and Mike Conley who is one of the keys to the Memphis Grizzlies.
2nd, the DUNK CONTEST. Wiggins, Lavine, and some other great dunkers. Hopefully they go back to the old scoring system and format.
Ok, what am I looking forward to in the ACTUAL SEASON? Vince Carter throwing down some throwback dunks.

ncballerNBA:
-The Bucks are a team I am excited to watch. Lot of young very developable talent.
-Jimmer. I think his career is going to get revived in New Orleans.
-The Cavs. I actually think they will underperform..
NCAA (more excited about this):
This year moreso than other years I think that this pre-season anyone could have a valid opinion that any of the pre-season top 6 should be number 1. (UK, Arizona, Duke, Wisconsin, Kansas, UNC). It is going to be an exciting year! The assortment of those 6 teams is what I am looking forward to.

Memphis MadnessParticipantA great GAME should be the Cavs vs. the T Wolves. K Love vs. his old team. Wiggins and Bennett against the team that drafted them.
Good individual matchups too.
Irving vs. Rubio
Waiters vs. Lavine
Mike Miller vs. Kevin Martin
LeBron vs. Wiggins
Shawn Marion vs. Corey Brewer
Kevin Love vs. Thad Young/Anthony Bennett
Andy V vs. Pek/Dieng
Could be the most "entertaining" game of the year.
An intriguing side story should be the race for the scoring title. Does the triangle help Carmelo? I actually think that with Durant’s injury, that LeBron is the preseason favorite to win this year’s scoring title. Durant and Westbrook could equal each other out when KD gets back. I could even see Kobe making a run at it, but he is OLD. Steph Curry and Blake Griffin could also be in the running for their first scoring title. … the Cavs have some great weapons, but that could make it EASIER for LeBron to score (fewer double teams perhaps, more fast break opportunities).
The All Star Game could feature some (awkward) Irving, D Wade, LeBron, Love, and Bosh lineups. Kobe and D Rose return. Durant will be in peak form perhaps. Outside chance that Parker or Wiggins makes the team. We could ALSO possibly see a Pau vs. Marc Gasol-Off. And, ANTHONY DAVIS.

tuck243Participant1. Melo within the triangle offense. He says his scoring will dip, but I don’t think so. I think he’s gonna become an efficient scorer. Added with a healthy body, I’m excited about him.
2. Derrick Rose. I’m looking forward to him actually staying healthy all year and his jumper has improved too. I wonder if he can go back to the old D. Rose, right before the first injury. I thought he was the best PG in the game that time.
3. My man Born Ready… I’m looking for him to dominate and hopefully average around 20 points a game…
This season should be nice!!

Interested to see how they compare to the highlight reels that are already in the NBA. Hopefully they don’t screw up the format like last year when they made it a team competition.
