McDunkinWhen we last checked in on former NBA center Robert Swift, in 2013, he’d left his foreclosed Washington home in a total mess. Kirkland and Redmond police raided a home on Oct. 4, and you’ll never guess who they found.
Swift was detained at the house of Trygve Lief Bjorkstam, though he wasn’t charged with anything related to the raid. Bjorkstam, however, had a lot of things to explain. Police found drugs, prostitutes, guns, and an underground bunker used as a shooting range. Bjorkstam had been cooking and selling meth and heroin out of his home to make money, according to documents obtained by the Kirkland Reporter. Oh, and the house is 300 feet from an elementary school. It’s a wild story on its own.
Back to the ex-Sonic, though. If the 28-year-old Swift was hanging out at a drug dealer’s house, his situation doesn’t appear to have improved since the last update.

Scrooge McDuckParticipantWait… what’s the story here? Swift STILL hasn’t done any harm to anyone!

McDunkinI think the story is that he went from being a lottery pick with potential to being found in a traphouse during a raid.

CU.LIONSParticipantIt makes sense now why Swift who had so much potential and seemingly just disappeared from sight.

Scrooge McDuckParticipantI don’t get it. Did it ever cross your mind he isn’t obsessed with basketball? It goes without saying he doesn’t want an NBA life. What makes you think he isn’t happy?

Scrooge McDuckParticipantSome do. There is no point in demonize people. Not that they’re good people, but generally from my experience sports fans are not any better people than drug addicts. Athletics is a dangerous if its an addiction. Way to dance around the point!
