UC1000ParticipantDante Exum played well v. Ukraine(14 points) but did not finish the game v. Finland with a sprained ankle the day before.
Dario Saric had 17 points v. France and seemed to get the better of Batum on his 7 of 11 shooting. France won while Rudy Gobert had 8 points and 7 boards. Gobert also scored double digits v. Belgium
Kostas Papanikolaou- was the high scorer v. France while Giannis had 11 points and 7 rebounds in the same game which was a loss.
This international experience will really help these young players with limited NBA minutes and they’ll be ahead of many of the US college players coming in. Saric looks like the goods.

omphalosParticipantNo, Simmons didn’t make it, which seemed short-sighted to me, but we’ll see what happens.

TenSecondTomParticipantBatum didn’t cover Šarić as he was playing inside most of the game. He went up against Gobert mostly and Mahnimi/Batum on occasion. Either way he got the better of some solid young NBA talent. Everyone here seems to be sleeping on Kostas Papanikalaou, he has legitimate skills and I think that losing Parsons won’t hurt the Rockets as much as many people think because of him.

he_gets_bucketsParticipantBen didnt make it because he isnt ready to play against grown men. He isnt even a college freshman yet. He would ride the pine even if he does have more raw talent than some of the guys who made it over him. His time will come.
