ChoppyParticipantWhat the…? Monroe and Jerebko is a break even for Bass, Derrick Williams and Terry? Detroit gets dry humped in this trade scenario. Indiana make out like bandits, Boston upgrade their interior, even Sacramento improve their point position. What does Detroit improve? Monroe is better than Bass and Derrick Williams. Terry is old and busted. Detroit regress massively.
Smh… When you do these scenarios, at least try and ensure each team addresses a need before posting.

festar35ParticipantBoston Gives: Rajon Rondo, Kelly Olynyk
Boston Receives: Greg Monroe, George Hill (Starting C and experienced 6th man)
Detroit Gives: Greg Monroe
Detroit Receives: Kelly Olynyk, Jason Terry, Derrick Williams (Shooting, shooting and more shooting)
Sacramento Gives: Jason Thompson, Jason Terry, Derrick Williams
Sacremento Receives: Roy Hibbert (Defensive C to pair with Cousins)
Indiana Gives: Roy Hibbert, George Hill
Indiana Receives: Rajon Rondo, Jason Thompson (A starting PG who can create like no one Indiana has seen, big man to share the C duties with Mahinmi and Allen)

phila9012ParticipantDetroit would have to recieve more, probably from from sacramento, like a lottery protected 1st round pick and then it is closer to being fair. Williams is a scrub when he was in minnesota and he did nothing for the kings last year and he cant shoot. Other than that it seems pretty solid

Dog_ShammdogParticipantRondo still garners more value than Monroe, olynyk is equally/most likely more valuable than hill. That would be egregious of boston.

ChoppyParticipantAt least Detroit gets a decent young prospect back in your proposal. I’ve seen worse ideas. Don’t know that if Boston wanted to trade Rondo you’d need 4 teams to do it. They could probably work something with Detroit for Monroe and pieces straight up.

ExumInfernoParticipantSacramento really wants Rondo, they may not want to help another team get him.
Rondo to Indiana or Sacramento makes sense, but only the Kings have the trade assets, the Pacers don’t have youth or picks and won’t trade away their stars.
Boston don’t have the money to spend to force Detroit to sign and trade Monroe, but maybe if the 76ers decide they might like to put an offer to Monroe it could get the Pistons looking for a deal with them, or another team.

festar35ParticipantThere is a chance he could just wal out at contracts end, so why not try get something and young developing big man isn’t a bad prize. It may also take a pick to swing Boston’s way.
