    The two most notable names left off of the roster. It’s a good thing these coaches aren’t allowing reputation determine who makes this team but quite surprised to see talents like these two cut while there still has to be 5 more players cut. Monk because of the praise he keeps getting from ESPN and his mixtapes on YouTube. Also after how high this site was on Dennis Smith after the Euro Camp, drawing comparisions to Derrick Rose. Keep in mind that getting cut from one of these teams is no red flag to one’s career. The most notable player to ever be cut from a Team USA Junior National Team would be Blake Griffin, left off the 2006 U18 Roster as a 17 year old.

     I think monk is one of the best talents in the nation,  let’s remember he’s only 16 and still have a chance to make the squad next year.
