thetrademachineryParticipantThere are rumors of Lance Stephenson to Chicago, and i believe it is a very good fit.
Rose Stephenson Butler Gibson Noah \6th Mirotic
and they probably should sign Jimmer for a 3pts punch out of the bench.

thetrademachineryParticipantand they also have mcdermott.
However if i were chicago first i would try to sign Bledsoe. Excellent defender, can play 2, if Rose got injured can takeover 1.

tuck243ParticipantEveryone on that Suns team seen their numbers jump… It was that system that allowed that and I’m not sure if Bledsoe style of not taking care of the ball fits Chicago’s offense… It wouldn’t be smart to start a 6’2 PG at the 2, especially in the East… Lance fits Chicago better IMO and he’s able to expand his offensive role… Plus his personality meshes with Noah, Gibson, and D. Rose… An F U type… Plus Lance is a gym rat, I don’t see why or how Bledsoe would be an improvment over him at the 2…

SpinCycle88ParticipantPeople have been thinking I’m crazy for saying Lance would fit perfectly with the Bulls….. I have said this since he has been in the league. He is a perfect compliment to D. Rose. A legit 2 guard with the ability to handle the ball, defend, create and play with passion. Doesn’t have reliable range just yet, but between him and Rose driving the lane, collecting fouls, I see this as a serious upgrade.

gobullzParticipantBledsoe is a supreme max level talent, and would be great next to a larger guard (Kobe, Carter-Williams, Harden, Wade ect.) Lance however is an assending player in this league. I am surprised Larry bird doesn’t value a player who led the league in triple doubles, and can get his own shot, more than 44 mil. Bulls get better by crippling a division rival. Perfect addition for us.

HitsterParticipantStephenson’s defence on a Coach Thibs team would be a very good fit plus I think Coach Thibs would have a good handle on him. The issue would be is Stephenson happy with being 3rd/4th option still on a team.

Hacker90ParticipantWould be the 1st, 2nd and 3rd option on that Bull’s roster ahead of Stephenson? It wouldn’t be Butler, Noah or Gibson. If Rose is healthy then he would be the 2nd offensive option in my opinion.

IndianaBasketballParticipantLet’s not count the Pacers out yet. They still have a few moves they could make to cut costs and give Stephenson a great offer.
I think he’d be making a mistake leaving the Pacers, but I think he’d be a great fit with the Bulls and that core group of players.
I’m interested to see what happens with Gordon Hayward because I’ve thought the Hornets were the biggest threat to give Stephenson an offer the Pacers couldn’t come close to.

celtics1982ParticipantI like the player and like the fit, but at what cost? How many years and how much per year? I’d worry about a long term deal at over 10 million plus. I compare Stephenson to Ron Artest. They can help you win, but you better make sure they’ll fit in your locker room and understand you’ll need to babysit them a little bit.
I think a two year 26 million dollar deal is a risk worth taking. But lets say it takes a 4 year 50 million deal, that’s not a great deal and I wouldn’t take the risk.

Lotto StudParticipantI like it and not for the Rose/Stephenson wow factor. 1 thing for sure is that Thibbs defense will become even more exciting to watch now. Stephenson/Noah will be something special to watch for years to come. The intensity meter will be off the charts night in and out.
