The8thDeadlySinParticipantThis is just for what I want to see.. People can disagree or hate but this is my wish list.
Carmelo Anthony – Chicago Bulls
PG: Derrick Rose
SG: Tony Snell (I would assume Jimmy Butler would have to be moved to get Melo)
SF: Carmelo Anthony
PF: Taj Gibson
C: Joakim NoahThis makes a great team in Chicago that has good balance between offense and defense. With McDermott, Smith, and Hinrich on the bench, they should have decent depth to keep people healthy and happy. Also, this is one of the hardest teams to guard. Gibson has nice range out to 18 feet, Noah is a great passer from the outside and Snell is a good catch and shoot player. Those 3 working off Rose and Anthony make things hard.
Chris Bosh – Houston Rockets
PG: Patrick Beverly
SG: James Harden
SF: Omri Casspi
PF: Chris Bosh
C: Dwight HowardObviously Lin, Parsons, and Jones will not be on the team if this happens so there will have to be some moves made to have a bench but this is a well rounded team.. Bosh is still a 3rd fiddle but will feel like he is a number 1 guy because Howard doesn’t have a great offensive game and Harden is a wing.. This is a team that would give people matchup fits with Howard and Bosh.. Not many teams have 2 guys capable of guarding great bigs.. Also, Howard and Bosh are great compliments to each other.
Lebron James – Cleveland Cavilers
PG: Kyrie Irving
SG: Andrew Wiggins
SF: LeBron James
PF: Anthony Bennett
C: Anderson VerajoTristan Thompson and Dion Waiters will have to be moved to make space for James to have his money but I think it is all for the better. Bennett is a rebounding, stretch 4 that makes LeBron feel better. Wiggins can be a catch and shoot defender for a while so he can develop at his own pace and Irving is very good off the ball so playing with James would probably only help him.
Pau Gasol – Oklahoma City Thunder
PG: Russell Westbrook
SG: Andre Robertson
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Serge Ibaka
C: Pau GasolThis move just makes too much sense. Pau would be the perfect fit for OKC. He would help keep the ball moving and give them a reliable option on the inside. Ibaka has developed his game to be a jump shooter, Durant can obviously do it all, Westbrook, for all of his attacking, is mostly a jump shooter too. Gasol would be able to average close to 5 assist and be the Point Center that this team longs for.. I would guess that Perk would have to be moved but they would probably retain most of their bench.. Maybe Collison has to be moved too..
Rajon Rondo – Indiana Pacers
PG: Rajon Rondo
SG: CJ Miles
SF: Paul George
PF: David West
C: Roy HibbertA sign and trade with Stevenson and Hill would make this work. Scola may have to be included too but the Pacers wouldn’t give it a second thought.. This makes them so much better because they have people that can score but struggle to create for themselves.. Now, with Rondo, he will create for everyone else and just let them score.. He is an Alpha that will gladly run the show while the other play off of him.. George Hill is a great piece but he isn’t the PG the Pacers need.
Kevin Love – Golden State Warriors
PG: Stephen Curry
SG: Kevin Martin
SF: Andre Iguadala
PF: Kevin Love
C: Andrew BogutWhat are the Warriors thinking?? So they want Klay Thompson AND Harrison Barnes.. I say go for it. If Love says he will resign, give those guys up.. They aren’t giving you a chance to go to the finals like Love is going to.. This group wont play a lot of defense but Iggy can guard the other teams best guard/wing and you can work from there.. A scoring punch of Love and Curry would be way too much for most teams to handle. Iggy plays a Point Forward role a lot of times so his lack of shooting would be negated a bit. Martin is not what he used to be but he is still a 6’7 SG that has a great stroke and at times, can still take over a game..
End of year standings if these moves happen
East:
1. Indiana
2. Cleveland
3. Chicago
4. Washington
5. Charlotte
6. Toronto
7. Detroit
8. AtlantaWest:
1. Oklahoma City
2. Houston
3. San Antonio
4. LA Clippers
5. Golden State
6. Portland
7. Dallas

festar35ParticipantI am totally on board and would really like to see this happen. The one I would like to see (apart from Rondo to Indiana) the most would be Bosh to the Rockets I think that it would be his best fit and I honestly feel that this happens.
I would also really love to see Carmelo Anthony on the Lakers next to Kobe I think it would be awesome to see how they work together.
I feel the most likely situations are Bosh to Houston and the rest is totally up in the air.

TRC1991ParticipantThe Thunder can only offer Pau the mid-level exception which is $5.3 million – significantly lower than what he deserves. My guess is that the Knicks move Amare and Shumpert and can afford to re-sign Melo AND sign Pau Gasol
giving them this:
PG – Jose Calderon
SG – Tim Hardaway
SF – Carmelo Anthony
PF – Pau Gasol
C – Andrea Bargnani/Samuel Dalembert
A decent enough roster to fight for the 7 or 8 seed in the east

festar35ParticipantI still fell Amare still has a lot of game left in him, he showed flashes of life last season and before Melo got to town he was killing it.
If he does get moved I hope it is to a team that would actually use him or if he stays the Knicks actually give him a shot.

Memphis MadnessParticipantI would like to see:
The Cavs with LeBron and Kevin Love and also keeping Andrew Wiggins. Hmm, what about Carlos Boozer resigning with Cleveland to reunite with LeBron?
The Lakers then get the rest of the Big Three with Bosh and D Wade. Jeremy Lin signs with the Lakers, and Pau resigns with LA.
THEN Mike Miller and Rashard Lewis have a DECISION to announce if they will be going to the Cavs or the Lakers (package deal and all).
By the way, the Cavs get the Heat’s pick next year right? Is that pick protected???
The Cavs start Kyrie Irving, Wiggins, LeBron, Love, and Andy V with Carlos Boozer as their glorified sixth man (if Anthony Bennett also gets traded). Matthew Dellavadova becomes their seventh man, filling in for anyone on the perimeter.
The Lakers go with Nash, Kobe, Wes Johnson/Shawne Williams, Bosh, and Pau with Jeremy Lin and Julius Randle off the bench.
Carmelo goes to Chicago to give them a lineup of Rose, Snell, Carmelo, Taj Gibson, and Joakhim Noah with Doug McDermott as their sixth man.

SnowtaParticipantThere’s no way Cleveland is getting Love without giving up Wiggins. I love the OP and feel like all those moves are great fits. The only thing that I would change in my dream offseason is Love to Cleveland for Wiggins and Thompson. I don’t know if this trade would actually happen or not. For some reason I feel like if Lebron went to Cleveland he would prefer to play with Love over Wiggins at this point, because K-Love would give them a better chance of winning rings right now (can’t think of a better compliment offensively for Lebron and Kyrie). At the same time I don’t know if Cleveland would be willing to give up Wiggins, but the Wolves have some things they could throw in like Brewer. As a Wolves fan I am hoping and praying for that to happen, but I would be shocked if it actually did. The thought of Wiggins/Lavine/GR3/Shabazz all running with Rubio is my dream come true. I’ve loved all those players since they started college and have been wanting the Wolves to put athletes around Rubio since they got him. The fact that there’s even rumors about that situation happening is amazing. I just hope that everyone doesn’t go back to their teams and stay put. I like the teams in the OP alot more than the current league makeup. At least a few of them need to happen right??

BajeebzParticipantI’ve been fighting this battle on the forums all day. For some reason Cavs fans think Minnesota is going to give up Love without demanding Wiggins in return.

SnowtaParticipantNo way Flip would do a deal with Cle w/out getting Wiggins. He’d keep Love over making a deal for Waiters, Thompson, etc… He turned down those two and the #1 pick last year and now that the pick has turned into Anothony Bennett I don’t see that changing. Bottom line is that if Lebron wants to them to make that deal for Love they’ll do it. Cleveland fans are getting greedy, it’ll be either Lebron, Kyrie, and Wiggins or Lebron, Kyrie, and Love. Not all 4.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantParsons isn’t going anywhere whether Houston gets Bosh or not.
