I know the risk of drafting Embiid and Noel back to back is risky, but if the risk pays off the 2 could provide the 76ers with a dominant Front Court for years to come…

The potential reward far out weighs the risk and than we can keep the 10th and 32nd picks and find a SG and SF combo

I wouldn’t be upset with this. I don’t want to give up 3 picks for 1…

if the price for Wiggins is 3, 10 and 32, just take Embiid and play the draft out. No need to overpay with Embiid sitting there @ 3.

I wish we could get the full medical file on Embiid’s injuries. I for one would be too nervous to take Embiid at three considering how often big men with injuries like Embiid’s struggle to stay healthy each and every year of their often short careers.

Twin Towers could work since they are both good athletes.

Nerlens can pass and Embiid can shoot.

That would make a lot of sense.  The Spurs have won 5 titles with lots of 2 seven footer lineups.

i Would be worried drafting two injury-riddled centers back to back. Just doesn’t seem like a very smart decision

    1. We’ve surely gotten a glimpse of his medical reports by now, this is not a nuclear weapons program we are talking about, it’s a 19 year old pro athlete’s medical chart after a simple foot surgery!

    2. We have no need to rush Joel back and can afford to wait 4-8 months for him to recover if we believe he’s going to develop into a Top 3 Center over the course of his career

    3. Brent Brown is a defensive coach who would love to add another Rim Protector and Rebounder, not to mention a low post scorer to open up the floor for MCW/Noel/the 10th and 32nd picks/Thad Young and Free Agent X maybe Chandler Parsons???

Just go with the BPA which is Joel at 3 IMO

I meant the we as we the fans not the team. Surely the team has the information necessary to make their decision, but I just wish fans could have a clearer idea so all the people concerned with Embiid’s health would know if their teams GM is insane or not.

Didnt they tank all year for Wiggins tho?  I’m not saying Embiid is going to bust or that Wiggins will be a stud but why not go get the guy you have wanted all year?  Give up those picks.  Even if you get some decent players with them, are they going to help you contend or sell tickets?  Doubt it.  Go all in for Wiggins.  At least you will show people that you are going to do what you feel is right and not settle for whatever is left over.
