BallinmvpParticipantWe are less than 48 hours away from the draft, how many trades do you guys see going down? I think we see 3 or 4. I think Phoenix, Chicago, Sacremento, and Bos have the highest likelyhood of moving around.

burgessfourParticipanta minimum of six deals, no doubt in my mind Philly is involved in at least two.

FutureNBAGMParticipantWe’re talking first AND second round, right? I’ll say between 8-10.

qDizzle32ParticipantCan’t imagine if Philly doesn’t deal any of their 2nd rounders

Hector_Reyes_8ParticipantI see exactly EIGHT trades happening, because 8 is the perfect number and it is also my favorite. Symmetry.

MattP31ParticipantI see a record number of trades going down. Before today there was more trade rumors than usual to begin with and a very deep draft class. Now that LeBron and Melo opted out, some teams will be trying to deal picks to save money or as sweeteners to take bad contracts. Then you get the second round which is always filled with deals.
Throw in the fact that Philly looks to be super aggressive under Hinkie(he made 4 trades during last year’s draft) and they have 7 picks plus have blown up the team to make this draft shape the franchise, so I wouldn’t be shocked if MCW, Young, and Wroten were all playing for new teams. In fact the only guy I see as 100% safe is Noel, and that’s just because they won’t trade him when he won’t bring full value back.

HayatoKanzaki1ParticipantTrading MCW so soon? I think not. He’s their cornerstone. I do see Young and Wroten being traded though.

kazamParticipantIf MCW is the "corner stone" of any franchise they are in trouble. Regardless of him being the reigning ROY, he is by no means untouchable or untradeable.

The GoatParticipantPhilly has a million 2nd round picks, theyll almost all be traded unless they are Euro stashes. They wont have roster space to sign them all so itd be a waste otherwise.
I say there will be two lottery trades, three more involving first rounders (Suns for sure) and at least one trade of vets that is announced on draft day.
Sacramento and Philly are likely to be making a move with their respective pick/s, Afflalo has his bags packed and im expecting at least one deal we can laugh at either the Cavs or MJ about.

ExumInfernoParticipant6 in the first round, 8 in the second round, so the guess is 14.
Teams want to buy picks, teams have multiple picks and want to move up or move one away for a future pick, some teams want to clear salary space and other teams haev players with low buyouts and nonguaranteed deals, there are reasons why many will trade.
It could also help if Love is traded very early, then all the other teams that wanted him can go to their Plan B or C and make other deals.

NC_Boy76ParticipantI say maybe 2 or 3…..every year during the draft and trade deadline there are tons of trade rumors, i think a good majority either have no legs, are old, are made up to get hits on sites and such. There is hardly ever the activity there is rumored to be and I dont think this year will be any different especially w/ the Miami situation being unsettled right now.
