Mr. BasketballParticipantnot dominant. thabeet is raw and unproven. love is not a good defender. neither is jefferson. if thabeet gets in foul trouble in a game its over defensively for the t’wolves.

JNixonParticipantWhy would they draft Harden and make him a point guard, when he is clearly a shooting guard? Remember what yall just had with Randy Foye? And it would be at least 2 or 3 years before Derozan is even a factor offensively with his jumper and ball handling skills. They should trade one of the picks for a center in the NBA already, and then take a pg (Brandon Jennings or Jonny Flynn) if they were smart

Masrockbest overall option is draft Harden at 5, if he’s there, and Evans at 6. They just completed a trade that subtracted two SGs and gave them two F’s and a C, so don’t expect them to draft Thabeet. They are going to stick it out with Love and Jefferson at PF and C for better or for worse.

MattissickParticipantThis site’s mock explains that they will take either curry or evans and either hill or thabeet, not 2 gaurds and not 2 bigs. Also, there is not great evidence that HIll or Thabeet will be good pros. Thabeet seems like he will at least be able to defend, but without a fast tempo, it’s unclear if Hill can do anything more than be an energy guy with lots of athleticism.

MasrockI personally think Minnesota is going exclusively small in this draft, and they should. That’s where the strength is.
