King CaluchaParticipantSo Charlotte will have 2 defensive players who can’t shoot (MKG and Gordon). I disagree; they need perimeter shooting.

BallinmvpParticipantLast thing Charlotte needs is a Forward who is a poor shooter, they finished near the bottom in 3pt shooting. Definitely need a sharpshooter.
Washigton needs more punch off the bench, hopefully porter develops. They could use another scoring guard when wall or beal is out or off their game. Miller is a good back up point but he isn’t looking to score. Webster showed up this past season but definitely need some more scoring

gforce03Participantas little as he was mentioned, I think Affalo is a pretty hot target for teams this off-season, sharp-shooting and solid defense makes him a solid piece to a playoff team. Charlotte should go after him like others mentioned above but hopefully not with the 9th pick.
One thing Charlotte must do is to bring back Josh Mcroberts, he was a key member to the bobcats last year for his contribution on offense and also his hustle on defense, something 12m/3 years should do it.
If they were able to bring Affalo on board and if Lavine falls to 9th, they should take him and allow him to come off the bench behind Walker/Affalo to let him develop his game, take potential over safe.
Last but not least, bring someone who does dirty work in the paint behind Al Jefferson, Cody is developing pretty nicely at the 4 and I still can’t trust Biyombo on a regular basis. Jeff Taylor is coming back from injury so Charlotte is adequate at the 3 spot with him and MKG, it will be better if they can get a upgrade but at least MKG and Taylor is acceptable at this point.

mrhancocParticipantIf I was runnunig the show in Charlotte, try to sign Lance Stevenson and L. Deng, may have to trade Biyombo, CDRoberts and Henderson to do so
1 draft TJ Warren or Aaron Gordon with 9 pick
2 draft Deandre Daniels or PJ Hairston with 24 pick…………………………………………… Kimba Walker, Lance Stevenson, L. Deng, TJ Warren and Big Al……….bench, J.McRobert, Cody Zeller, PJ Hairston, MKG and maybe a Russ Smith with the 45 pick and other bench players

The Game_GMParticipantThe last two posts nailed it. I have been saying the same thing you guys have in regards to McRoberts, LaVine and a rugged back up for Al..I also like the lance and Deng option. Deng might require a lot of bucks but we need to give it a try.
The overall idea is to fill immediate shooting and scoring voids at the 2 and 3 via free agency with established guys(Lance, Deng, Ariza) and get a LaVine or PJ or TJ in the draft with our 2 first round picks. I personally think LaVine could be very good at some point. Then try to get that rugged back up or pg per a trade involving Hendo or/and Bismac. Then the sleeper is Jeff Taylor, I really think if heathy he can take up a lot of that shooting void and he is sneaky athletic also.

raymondlyfParticipantCharlotte will be better by not starting Henderson and MKG together.

0pu1ck7ParticipantI think the biggest need for the Hornets is a starting caliber wing that can consistenly hit a 3pt shot.

Lawrence112ParticipantIf I was Washington I would probably sign Lebron. They need a small forward with Ariza now a free agent.
