For_Never_EverParticipantThe Spam filters on this site is too strict it’s not letting me post the articles or links.
Go to Bleacher Report or ESPN to read the articles if you guys want to check it out. Supposely the Lakers are going to try to do a package deal for Kevin Love including the draft pick they own. Also Rick Adelman not returning next year likely.

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantThere would have to be a third team involved- the Lakers have basically nothing of trade value except for that pick. Also, the Lakers would probably have to take on some combination of Corey Brewer, Chase Budinger, JJ Barea, and Kevin Martin- the Wolves need to shed some of those horrible deals

Magic JordanParticipantWhen Adrien Woj reports it then I will believe it. They have stated multiple times this isn’t going to be a one year plan. This would be a one year move.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantBAD BAD BAD MOVE!!! Why trade a high draft pick for a player you can get in 2015?

strobox88ParticipantOr have the chance of losing him in 2015. Did the Lakers not learn anything from the Dwight Howard stint?

MopgrassParticipantTo make that work the Lakers would have to sign and trade Gasol to the TWolves and send the 1st pick. There was also a rumor that they’d trade the pick for Rondo. The only reason to do either is they only have Kobe for 2 years and they don’t even own their 2015 pick. (Phoenix… which might be worth something).
It would be a waste of Kevin Love’s time. Lebron isn’t coming over and neither is Bosh/DWade. Tony Parker is a free agent the Lakers could really use, but who would leave the Spurs for a team who was the 6th worst team? Point being: free agency isn’t going to turn Lakers into a top contender. So why not take your time? Enjoy your pick and sign respectable free agents and hope you can throw a good team together in 2015.
