Bmore_DCParticipantI really think that if he declares, he will go a lot higher than this site’s current projection. He looks to me, like one of the most NBA ready prospects out there. He reminds me a little bit of Caron Butler, an athletic wing who does it all, but most importantly puts the ball in the hoop. If he wouldve connected on his free throws last night, he wouldve had a nice boxscore.
Its a shame they couldnt find a way to get him the ball at the end, but still, if your team cant get Parker, Wiggins, Randle, or Embiib, i would think about trading back in the draft, getting more picks and someone like Warren.
Thoughts?

Magic JordanParticipantHe doesn’t seem to be that athletic when I watch him. I definitely agree with you that he will go higher than projected on this site but besides being a prolific scorer at the college level what does he bring? Not a great shooter. Less than average athlete at the NBA level. I think he gets most of his buckets due to his size and ball handling ability in college, but those won’t carry him as far against the NBA athletes in my opinion.
If he puts a lot of work on his jumper I can see a little Paul Peirce in him, but I think he most likely ends up just another solid college scorer.

ibe12ParticipantI’m late on the TJ Warren train but I like what I see of him. He’s not the most athletic guy in the world but what he does on the offensive end he does better than most guys. He plays under control and within himself which I’d rather have than a guy who just jacks up shots or dribbles too much. I think he can be a deadly sixth man in the NBA.

rileymcshea3ParticipantI like him a lot and his willingness to win. He can score in all kinds of way, but I just don’t see him succeeding that much in the NBA. I don’t see him fitting in on a winning team.
