    He was drafted in 2005.

    In 20 minutes: 9 points (on 67% shooting), 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks.

He is solid at pretty much everything. Needs work on his FT% (60%). Not a 3 point shooter. Good size at 6’10” with a 7’4″ wingspan.

He would be good alongside Dwight Howard. The FT% would be a problem so IF (that’s a big if) he comes over next season like he wants to, he might have to be a backup. I like his game and he could make a good impact in the league.

I agree that he would be good alongside Howard. He’s not a great athlete but decent. He’s got good anticipation skills on D. On offense I thno he will struggle in the League but he could score in a way the Fabricio Oberto does in that he uses trckery and crafty fakes and post moves to score. He should be a solid player though and yes he is a poor FT shooter as butieonthavemoney pointed out.

Butidonthavemoney just curious but, where do you get your info from? I travel all of the time to scout high school players and only get to see European players via tapes and highlights. Just wondering thanks.

He’s very long and had more blocks per 40 than anyone else in the euroleague this year, which is kind of intriguing if you imagine him playing next to the best shotblocker in the NBA. He’s a good finisher too, but not very skilled.

    Here’s a very good profile:

I only knew because everyone said my favorite team (Utah) was going to take Vazquez in that draft. I studied him a little bit. I knew his height and wingspan because they replayed the 2005 NBA draft on NBATV earlier today. I knew his stats from his EuroLeague profile here.

I check out this site, DraftExpress, a newspaper search engine on ESBSCO, Hoopshype, CollegeHoopsNet, ESPN, NBA.com. I just surf those pages when I have a computer class or get bored at home.
