imAboutDatActionParticipantthe kings will send him to the d-league for those 10 days (4 D-league games) and evaluate his performance from there for whether or not they give him a 2nd 10 day contract and move up to the NBA.
interested to see how he deals with his anxitey and plane flights. Also, interested in whether or not he can still play.
Also, question for anyone that knows, are the Rockets still paying Royce White? all rookie deals are guaranteed, but Royce never actually played, did they void his contract or is he still getting paid????

juves4783Participantrockets are paying $1.7M this year. i think they bought his contract out when they traded him to the 76ers and they did a non-guaranteed contract? not quite sure on that but it appears the rockets are on the hook this year.
as far as him as a player, i doubt he lost any of his skills. he never was an athlete but more know for his ball handling and rebounding ability. i don’t think that would have gone away unless he really got out of shape. plus, i think he was working out with john lucas while he was out.
i hope not playing helped him get over his anxiety issues. supposedly, he’s a talented musician as well so maybe the tour bus is a better route for him.

runBruceParticipantKings D league affiliate releases Royce White.
I remember seeing this guy play in college and being blown away by his ability, but his chances to play in the league are just about up. Kinda suprised anybody would bother signing him….I mean, my 76ers couldn’t find a spot for him and the 76ers have 4 or 5 guys that shouldn’t even be in the NBA

DolanCareParticipantI can’t wait until Royce is the answer for a Final Jeopardy question….
"He was the 2012 1st round draft pick that never played a game due to a severe case of Pteromerhanophobia."

Sewok15ParticipantTeams must really like his talent because a lot of guys don’t get a 2nd chance after the stuff he pulled…let alone a third chance.
