BasketBalAllanParticipantWord is that the Kings are finalizing a buy out for Mr Jimmer. Where do you think he will land next?

The8thDeadlySinParticipantI know he can play. Teams just cant expect him to be something that he is not. He can score points quick and he cant defend. If your plans are to start him, you must be tanking. If you want him to come off your bench, you could find a "Jim."

DondiJohnParticipantAs good as he is as a shooter/scorer, nobody likes his defensive abilities. He has none. Probably New York, they need another scorer outside of Melo and another defensive liability on the Knicks also. Yey!

Moon RiverParticipantApparently the Nuggets were interested in Jimmer and had several discussions with Sacto for his services before the trade deadline. Source is Zach Lowe of Grantland. BTW- a very good Tuesday article read today.

i’m jus so offendedParticipantSixers might as well give him some minutes. They’re running out D-Lrague players anyway and I think Jimmer has shown he can at least be a valuable shooter who can provide scoring off the bench in the league.

ncballerAbout time, Sacto wasn’t a good fit for him. I think he can be a 13 ppg scorer for the right team.

they were trying to trade for him in the proposed Jack for Thompson deal and only have 3 healthy gaurds right now and an open spot after trading Sims and Clark for Hawes.

BlackMamba24ParticipantIf he ever got consistent minutes he could possibly be a better defender, but to say he cant play defense is not fair to him. coaching changes and ownership changes don’t help. Put him with the right coach and he can be a better defender. The guy shoots almost 50% on 3’s, somebody will find a spot for that. Look at Matt Bonner in San Antonio. Maybe it is because he is white

vulture711ParticipantJimmer is the modern day Steve Alford. Great college player, OK backup as a pro. Hopefully he can morph into a coach like Alford
