mikeyvthedonParticipantCrazy, would not believe it if I had not watched it with my own two eyes. BC is now 7-19 on the year. [Player: Olivier Hanlan] (20 points, huge lay-up near end of regulation), Joe Rahon, Ryan Anderson, Patrick Heckmann and Lonnie Jackson (4-4 FT in OT, as a 56% FT shooter, huge under pressure) all put it together in this one. Cuse still awesome, just no longer undefeated, plus they obviously need some work offensively on the whole. Wichita State the only undefeated left for the 2014 season.

NickWayne87ParticipantWichita State could finish the regular and the postseason undefeated and pundits would still be talking about their lack of a great S.O.S.

cuseflynn10ParticipantBC earned it. Not a whole lot to say if you missed the game, just gotta look at these stats.
BC: 21-49 (42.9%) FG — 11-22 (50%) 3PT — 9-10 (90%) FT
SU: 20-62 (32.3%) FG — 2-12 (16.7%) 3PT — 17-24 (70.8%) FT
Syracuse has been so flat offensively as of late. Fair has been in a cold streak and if you take out Cooney’s game against ND, no one has really shot the ball well since the Duke game. Keita did come back for a few minutes tonight, but we are a different team with Christmas logging so many minutes, especially in foul trouble. He hasn’t been nearly as aggressive. We had a chance at the end, Grant was wide open on the baseline, but Christmas took a hook shot and missed. The guards allowed too much penetration that les to kick outs for three. BC hit their shots and deserved to win tonight. If teams have to shoot 50% from three with 11 of their 21 makes being threes, than we should be fine as long as we can step up our defense which has been our bread and butter this year.

machu46ParticipantYeah, this was a long time coming. I was hoping that barely squeaking by against Notre Dame, Pitt, and NC State would wake the team up…hopefully an actual loss to an absolutely horrific team will do the trick. If Syracuse plays like they have the past 4 or 5 games, we’ll lose to Duke by 20+.

llperezWonder what top 5 will look like. Does Florida, Wichita st, zona jump back ahead of cuse? On one hand it is one loss in a close game, but on the other hand it was a loss to a terrible team. I could see cuse drop to 4.

machu46ParticipantGotta wait and see what unfolds on Saturday. If Cuse upsets Duke, I think they at least stay ahead of Arizona. If they get blown out like I’m personally expecting, I think they could fall back to 5th.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantThat game versus Duke on saturday, loses some of its excitement with this lost…..
Syracuse couldnt do anything to stop BC’s dribble drive game….
