qDizzle32ParticipantWhich players rumored to be on the trading market do you want your team to trade for? Who would you be willing to give up in order to recieve that player?
I really want my Kings to go after Kenneth Faried. He shouldn’t be very hard to give up a lot of cap for as he is still on his rookie contract getting paid 1.4 mil a year. I definitely would not mind giving up Jason Thompson or Carl Landry or both of them in a 3 team trade. I believe in Derrick Williams, sure he will never reach his expectations as a #2 pick but he could be a great 6th man for the Kings for a long time to come. Jason Thompson is better off as a rotation player on a playoff team and he belongs on a better team as well. I thought Carl Landry was a solid backup for David Lee in Golden State last year but was never a big fan of siging to that big of a contract. The Kings do need more veterans on their roster but not loaded with a bunch of duplicates like how they were loaded with even more prior to the Rudy Gay trade. Still very uncertain about keeping Marcus Thornton. Many people are not very high on Ben McLemore but several other stars in the NBA such as Paul George also struggled a lot their rookie seasons. McLemore is lacking of confidence more than he is with anything else and it probably would take pressure off of him with nobody else to compete with. They recently improved a lot after aquiring Rudy Gay and Derrick Williams. Also see decent potential in Quincy Acy as far as being a backup. If they could get one more successful trade in and draft a player who could also contribute a lot for the franchise, they’ll finally be a playoff contender again.

MopgrassParticipantLakers in free agency: Jimmer Fredette. He fits half of your criteria.

festar35ParticipantI would love Thad Young in Portland! He would help with that bench scoring to make them a bigger threat offensively. I know they need defense, but no one rumoured I would want on the team.

Da1potParticipantWizards during the season:
1. Andre Miller- There are rumors that they are heavily interested in him. They need a veteran presence off the bench, and even with all his mileage he is still an upgrade over Eric Maynor (who has been glued to the bench) and Garrett Temple (one of the worst players in the league, a solid defender but mediocre passer, shooter and ball-handler). Keeping Kendall Marshall might have actually turned out well, though I understand getting rid of him was financially motivated
2. A scoring threat off the bench- Martell Webster is a capable scorer and Kevin Seraphin has his nights, but the Wizards need a proven guy who can fill it up when Beal and Wall are out of the game. They have lead at the end of first quarter in each of the last ten games, but they generally lose it when the stars rest at the beginning of the 2nd/4th quarter because they simply have trouble scoring. I’m not sure if they would try for a guy like J.R. Smith, but someone like Lou Williams certaintly wouldnt hurt. The Wizards have no backcourt depth whatsoever.
Offseason:
1. Carmelo Anthony- They are a serious darkhorse team for Melo not because it is close to "home" for him, but because they have two excellent young players in Wall and Beal and a pretty solid starter in Nene as well. Signing Melo would likely mean Trevor Ariza is out, and would make it harder to re-sign Gortat ( very underrated), but I think Washington is a destination he will have to consider.

4ngetnmoreDUKEParticipantAs a Laker fan I would obviously love to see LBJ play for us to an extent. But im not sure he is what the Lakers are about. Theyve had career guys guys that stay through the hard time work hard overcome and achieve. I understand it takes more than one star to win but if he runs from a injured older DWade and a underachieving small Bosh then his legacy and will to overcome are definatly in question and even though talent wise he is possibly the greatest ever he wont be close overall if he leaves. Even now he floats with that line. And thats why they play the game right? Legacy compete beat the best to be the best? I think first off we need to fire D’Antoni and I wish we could get Phil but he wont commit long term meaning we should get Lionel Hollins a defensive minded coach who has proven he can improve and make a team better. Then resign Pau Gasol to a 2 year 14 million dollar deal then go after Carmelo give him his 23.75 a year and then the key piece Kyle Lowry 4 year 48 million dollar deal. If Granger leaves look at him for around 14 for two years then Aminu is a FA worth 5 to 7 a year then Chris Anderson is a FA wanring money miami doesnt have sign him for rim protection rebounding for 2 8 mil then vets like ben gordon okafor shannon brown and ridnour to vet min deal and theyre still under 90 even though LA would pay the 20 mil lux tax. PG Kyle Lowry SG Kobe Bryant SF Carmelo Anthony PF Pau Gasol C Chris Anderson Bench Danny Granger Aminu Ridnour Okafor Gordon Brown. People have knocked melo for a while but with vets defensive minds surrounding him a actual distributing scoring PG and a defensive no BS coach he can win and at this point in Kobe and Melos career they can coexist for sure. Kobe wants 6 like MJ very bad Melo is panicking to win a ring and each will sacrafise for that cause . If that doesnt work draft Jabari rebuild let him learn from Kobe for two years and take the torch if the lotto balls go that way. If these things cant happen LA is in trouble for a while.
