BlackMamba24ParticipantJodie Meeks? Patty Mills? Any thoughts
I would say Meeks just based on where people think he will go and how late in the 2nd round0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/18/2009 - 11:57am #167594

gatorheelsParticipantI think Meeks, Mills, Elonu, Mullens all should have gone back to school.

JNixonParticipantDaye, Holiday,Elonu, Mullins, Devendorf, Paul Harris, Taggart, and Patty Mills all made a mistake.

MachiavelliParticipantI think Mills should BE IN THE DRAFT… as well as Meeks…they both performed at high levels but Mills really impressed me. At the Olympics, ChrisPaul, JKidd, or DWilliams couldnt stay in front of him. All he had to do was play a season of college at a high level and declare… I guarantee, he’ll impress.
Who do I think shouldve went back…? Austin Daye… barely though. I believe that if you can play, declare. With the Dleague in place and overseas being more vibrant than ever before, I say go for it… they sit there like saftey nets for dreams.
Aim for the stars and if you fall short, you’ll still be above everyone

lakanoParticipantThis draft is weak if Meeks is a late pick now how is it that he will be a higher pick in a stronger draft.
Yea he will have a chance to be on a championship team but that doesnt do much much for your draft stock look at Wayne Ellington.
Plus with all the firepower Kentucky added his stats wont be as high as they were this year beacause he wont be only weapon on offense

ckowalskiParticipantmeeks just because kentucky needs a SG. but for real i agree with the paul harris, flynn and devendorf post. that team would have been sick. Taggert wouldn’t really benefit from another year in school he’s not ready to be the focus of an offense and Memphis wouldnt have anybody worth mentioning besides him.

flexosexoParticipant1. Holiday
2. Blair
3. BJ Mullins
4. Hasheem Thabeet(should enter the draft when he develops an offensive game…secure the #1 pick spot)
5. Meeks…wtf is he thinking? He’s built for college anyway…same with Devendorf. Guys like Flynn, DeRozan, Evans, Harris are more built for the NBA with their physical advantages.
6. James Johnson
7. Jeff Teague
8. Derrick Brown
9. DeJuan Summers
10. Tai GibsonI wonder what the draft would look like if they did go back…uhmmm…

Stanford hoopsParticipantfor one playign good against the usa in the olympics means next to nothing..just ask carlos arryo and the other players on the pr team…2 as far as players going back to school..jru and mullins would benifit the most since they didnt do much and need to get better but i cant blame them for comming out because bother are a lock to go first round or even lotto…id say anyplayer that is certain of being a 1st pick that would have raised there stock by going back another year
