FutureNBAGMParticipantHey David Stern, why dont you just wear a Heat jersey to the NBA playoff games from now on and make it easier for all of us? Do you always have to try so hard to fool our intelligence? Listen David, we KNOW you worship the ground the Heat walk on(despite your very clever attempt to make us think otherwise in game 6) but you dont have to make it look so obvious. And David, its not our faults that your beloved Lakers were a laughing stock all season so now you switch to another media-friendly squad to ride the jock of.
Congratulations on creating the most rigged NBA Finals of all time and getting your Miami Cheat another NBA Championship. You somehow found a way to squeeze every last possible rating point out the public’s cow as you could. You should have retired 10 years ago instead of waiting a near decade to ruin the league that USED to be about actual(NON-SCRIPTED!) basketball competition. Whatever Adam Silver does, Im sure he wont F up half as bad as you did.
P.S. Vince Mcmahon called. In his laughter, he was offering you tips on how your “sports-entertainment” industry could fool the audience a little easier. Then he hung up, said he needed to fantasize some more over his John Cena/Rock posters.

sheltwon3ParticipantI watched the game Miami just shot lights out because Spurs got some calls that could have gone either way.

jacobkeyParticipantFouls were even at 19. SA shot more free throws 22 to 16. MIA shot 44%, SA shot 38%. What the hell are you talking about?

lisergxParticipantI have all the feels for Timmy . I wish he could have won his 5th ring, still greatest power forward of all time tho. Hope he doesn’t retire yet. SMFH at Manu tho.

fcb206Participanthaha, I don’t get this at all. Did David Stern pay off Manu to play like a washed up version of himself? I have seen MANY playoff series’ in my lifetime that seemed preposterously one-sided in terms of officiating. The Suns once shot 50-something free throws against the Sonics in the Western Conference Finals. The Kings-Lakers series was another bogus one. Wade’s endless parade to the free throw line against dallas in 2006. etc. I thought that all told, this was a pretty well officiated series. if David Stern was trying to fix the Finals, don’t you think he’d tell the refs NOT to call lane violations on Chris Anderson? Do you think the refs would call debatable fouls on Chris Bosh defending Tim Duncan on the block? Wouldnt they have ruled the play where LeBron tipped the ball to Wade at half court a clear path to the basket foul?
I’m bummed the Spurs lost too, but get real dude. San Antonio lost because Shane Battier regressed to his mean as a shooter, LeBron hit some wide open practice style threes, Manu became a turnover machine, Parker was bottled up by LeBron, Danny Green was forced to put the ball on the deck, and epic two-way performances by Tim Duncan and Kahwi Leonard just weren’t quite enough, not because David Stern wanted the Heat to win. What planet are you on, FutureNBAGM? I need to come there and sample the drugs you are on. They must be amazing.

fcb206ParticipantNice troll job, but what you said here is actually true, because theoretically, we can’t prove a negative. I think your best angle is “Manu was paid to throw the series”.

jmarg25ParticipantWhy the f#$k do all these idiots think the NBA is rigged? Is there one piece of credible evidence that it is?

You’d be a fool to think he acted alone or is the only one ever to do something like this.
Not saying the whole league is rigged, because I know it’s not, but it DOES happen. To constantly turn the other way in denial is not helping anything.
Here’s a fun list of theories that have been definite eye-brow raisers but never proven:

Forte IVParticipantNot gonna lie, I’m losing respect for you. How can you sit here and say the finals were rigged. How can you rig a ball going into the basket? The refs actually reffed this game fair and I’m pretty sure the Spurs actually shot more freethrows this game, especially if you don’t count the last ones by the Heat to seal the deal. Come on dude, there’s no need to come on here, waste our time with your cry baby attitude. The series was absolutely phenomenal. Just sit back, and chill out.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantDavid Stern must’ve used those cheat codes in game 6 then because the Spurs free throw and rebounding ability were what cost them the game in the final seconds. Plus Manu had EIGHT turnovers that game too. If they hit one more free throw or get one more rebound, the series is over and the Spurs are the champs, period. They have no one to blame but themselves.

JCliff24ParticipantRay Allen must have had a 100% chance at making that 3. I heard David Stern actually had an air tight tunnel that took the ball right to the hoop.
