haha, I don’t get this at all. Did David Stern pay off Manu to play like a washed up version of himself? I have seen MANY playoff series’ in my lifetime that seemed preposterously one-sided in terms of officiating. The Suns once shot 50-something free throws against the Sonics in the Western Conference Finals. The Kings-Lakers series was another bogus one. Wade’s endless parade to the free throw line against dallas in 2006. etc. I thought that all told, this was a pretty well officiated series. if David Stern was trying to fix the Finals, don’t you think he’d tell the refs NOT to call lane violations on Chris Anderson? Do you think the refs would call debatable fouls on Chris Bosh defending Tim Duncan on the block? Wouldnt they have ruled the play where LeBron tipped the ball to Wade at half court a clear path to the basket foul?

I’m bummed the Spurs lost too, but get real dude. San Antonio lost because Shane Battier regressed to his mean as a shooter, LeBron hit some wide open practice style threes, Manu became a turnover machine, Parker was bottled up by LeBron, Danny Green was forced to put the ball on the deck, and epic two-way performances by Tim Duncan and Kahwi Leonard just weren’t quite enough, not because David Stern wanted the Heat to win. What planet are you on, FutureNBAGM? I need to come there and sample the drugs you are on. They must be amazing.

The refs actually reffed this game fair and I’m pretty sure the Spurs actually shot more freethrows this game, especially if you don’t count the last ones by the Heat to seal the deal. David Stern must’ve used those cheat codes in game 6 then because the Spurs free throw and rebounding ability were what cost them the game in the final seconds. Plus Manu had EIGHT turnovers that game too. If they hit one more free throw or get one more rebound, the series is over and the Spurs are the champs, period. They have no one to blame but themselves.
