Is it possible to be overpaid and underated at the same time? People such as Roy Hibbert and Nicholas Batum are very well paid guys but also very underated in terms of coverage.

A few years ago alot of people were pi$$ed off, when Memphis gave Mike Conley a 5 year forty million dollar contract extension… ..They felt he being over paid….People said he should not have been signed before Gasol,Z BO and Rudy Gay,who were all about to become free agents…People said he was overpaid…Now they’re saying he’s underrated…

Well at the time Conley wasn’t very good. But he’s definately worked into his contract which I feel happens a lot in the league today.

Jeff Green comes to mind. A number of analysts and experts were saying Green wasn’t worth the deal the Celtics gave him, but it became apparent he was a bargain after Rondo went down, even though he remains underrated.

I Like Green,but he’s too inconsistent..He would have 30 pts 1 night then 8 points the next night…You never know which player will show up..I would like to see be a little bit more aggressive on defense,he has the tools to do so….Ty Lawson is kind of underrated,he’s not as gifted as some other pgs..But when he’s on his game,he’s hard to contain…..

emeka okafor. he’s a very solid starting frontcourt player who could start on any team that needs a pf or center. but he isn’t worth what he is getting paid though. overpaid yet underrated
