You sure you used team needs?

Nate Wolters at the tail end of the lottery? To each their own, I suppose.

It won’t be close to the actual draft, though, because teams draft almost predominately based on potential (at least as far as the lottery goes) with team needs being secondary.

Alex Len surely won’t go Top 3. That and McLemore’s position are the only picks that will be way off as far as I can see given some prospects will move up and down during the draft combine. I also think C.J. McCollum won’t fall into the second round.

I really have a hard time believing Mclemore will fall to the 11th pick let alone being drafted after Muhammad. I also don’t see Nate Wolters being taken before CJ McCollum or MCW. But hey, everybody is entitled to their opinion…

CJ McCollum reminds me too much of Juan Dixon. A undersized shooting guard with-out true point guard skills. Nate wolters has great size for a point guard, he plays with composure and poise, he’s a talented passer, ball-handler, and scorer, he is a dynamic decision maker in pick & roll situations, and can run a team in an efficient matter. And he also does a great of knowing when to make the simple play or creative play based on how the defense is guarding him. Nate Wolters is the type of point guard that I myself would love to coach or play with

Don’t get me wrong. I like Nate Wolters as a prospect. But I just feel that if McCollum or MCW are still on the board I would rather go with them. McCollum is the most efficient point guard in college basketball based on true shooting %. Plus you look at how well a guy like Damian Lillard is doing in the league and I think GM’s would snatch McCollum in a heartbeat hoping he could have a simillar fate. Plus the dynamics that MCW brings as a 6’6 point guard is something that’s intriguing as well along with his defensive ability.

If you went by team need Orlando needs a PG not another PF. Trey Burke to the Wiz would make no sense either. I have seen worse mock drafts but you definitely need to do some tweaking.

You seem to really like big men. Four of your top 6 picks are bigs.

Yes I do love talented canters and power forwards who have a high all-around skill level. To me the game of basketball should be played inside then outside. Big men who can score on the low post, rebound, block shots, run the floor, and be talented passers will always make the game easier for everybody around them.

Alex Len is intriquing to me because he has the potential to develop into a talented center who can score on the low post, rebound, block shots, run the floor, and be a talented passer from the low post and high post. Alex can potentially develop into another Zydrunas Ilgauskas

Alex Len could end up being the best player from this draft. His skill level, size, mobility, deceptive athleticism, and touch around the basket. Will give him the chance to be a starting center in the NBA. I think he will easily be better than Roy Hibbert

Alex Len will be a perfect young talented center to develop along side Kyrie Irving

Cody Zeller and McLemore both did horrible in the tourney yet Zeller rose while McLemore fell off the earth and slide to 11? Don’t see any team wanting Shabazz over McLemore.

I think his mock draft is more based on what he thinks the teams should do and not want he thinks will happen. I like that’s its different and he’s not afraid to get negged but the funny thing as a Mavs fan I would really like to see Nate Wolters on are team but it would be hard to take him that early

I don’t really care if I get negged by members who don’t agree with me
My goal was to act like I was a GM for each team, and choose the best player that fits the team needs. Based on the roster that each team currently has.

I ask my self simple questions- like:
      1. How much upside and potential does this player have?
      2. How good/great will this player be if he turns his weaknesses into strengths?
      3. Will this player make my team better?
      4. Is this player a good compliment to the other players on the team?
      5. Does this player possess a very good overall skill level for the position he plays?
      6. Has this player shown improvements in his game?
      7. How does this player match-up against the best players in the NBA? Can they potentially compete with the best?

-No way Nate Wolters goes in the lottery, especially before Michael Carter-Williams and CJ McCollum
-No way Cody Zeller goes 2 after his performance in the NCAA Tournament
-No way Ben McLemore drops all the way to 11 especially behind Shabazz Muhammad (who didn’t have a great tournament either)
-I don’t see Charlotte taking Noel who has similar abilities to Byombo who they already have
-I don’t see New Orleans taking Olynyk when they have Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson already..especially when they need a wing
-Washington taking Trey Burke when they already have John Wall? I don’t think so
    -CJ Leslie at #12!?!?

-Nate wolters is a true point guard compared to Michael Carter-Williams and CJ McCollum who are really just combo guards
-Yes Cody Zeller Struggled in the NCAA tournament, but he is a talented big men with skills and upside who can play power forward along side Nikola Vucevic
-Shabazz is more talented than Ben McLemore. Especially when it comes to being a nba level scorer
-Bismack Biyombo is a bust, and Noel might be the most talented player in the draft who possesses the most upside
-Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson are power forwards, Olynyk can provide new Orleans with a offensively skilled center
-The Washington Wizards are in desperate need of a quality back-up point guard. And Trey Burke Might be the solid back-up point guard they need
      – Yes CJ Leslie is a underachiever. But he reminds me of Darius miles and Terrance Morris. He’s the best athlete in this draft who has a combo forward skill set. He has great potential and can be a great energy player coming off the bench who could proved scoring, shot-blocking, and dynamic athleticism. He will be great playing along side LaMarcus Aldridge when needed

-How Michael Carter-Williams is a combo guard? Whenever I have watched Syracuse play he has been the ball handler and the PG. I have never seen him play off the ball.
-If your Washington and selecting in the Top 10..why are you selecting a back up for your best player? If your in the Top 10 that usually means you suck and you should probably draft a position that can help you win games, not drafting a back up
-You think Olynyk is a C in the NBA?? He will be get destroyed by NBA centers! I think he is a stretch 4 man, very similar to Ryan Anderson but with a post game.
-How is Shabazz more talented than McLemore when Bazz can shoot from outside to save his life??

I’m sorry but I don’t think CJ Leslie should be touched inside the Top 20. He was WAY to inconsistent to spend a Top 20 pick on…but hey that’s just my opinion
