    I’ve tuned in for the second half of MSU MEM and he has completely taken over. He is head and shoulder more athletic than anybody on the court and is playing like Javalle Mcgee minus the bone headed plays. Include the fact that he has 3pt range. 14pts 8 rebs and 5 filthy blocks with 8min to go. He has had some nice slams with one alley-oop that is guaranteed to be ESPN top 10. Do you guys think he declares this year or waits to play as senoir. Also, where does his value lie at the moment?

    He has a strange lung condition (his lung capacity is small) that keeps him for playing long stints, which might keep him as a 3rd big in the NBA.
    Otherwise, I like his combination of athleticism, defense and ability to stick the jumper out to college 3. Tough kid with character and an inspiring back story as well.
    I think his upside would be more around late teens, but I’d take him early 20s.

    Not comparing them as players but with a strong tourney run he play his way into a top 10 pick the way Ekpe Edoh did in 2010. And just like Edoh he should go in the 20s. His stock isn”t going to get higher if he comes back to school and in a weak draft gota strike while the iron is hot. (I know it’s a cliche and I use it too much but in this case it’s very true.)

    He’s got a lot of Taj Gibson in his game. Tough on the interior , but a sweet face up jumper.

    payne is the reason why MSU got a big lead… he was huge with those 5 blocks… his back to the basket game is weak… all gary harris needs to do is make 3’s to get nix more touches… but man… im terrified of louisville

    He seems bigger than Udoh or Taj Gibson.

    I could see him going anywhere from 10 to 30.
