I don’t know if I’m the only one but my favorite thing about looking at other people’s Mock Drafts is to read the comments they make for each pick, but I feel like I’ve only found like 2 other people who have added any comments at all. I like to imagine the scenario of each person on each team and that is more fun when someone have written a little bit about it.

I know I’m new, its just my 2 cents.

I like to read the comments as well but it’s kind’ve pointless to make write ups for just about every pick before the lottery comes about.

It’s fun to think about. Isn’t that why we are on a year round forum for NBA mock drafts?

Your mock looks good but Zeller is too low and MCW is too high…no way he goes top 5.

WCS could be the first Center taken so I’m not sure why you don’t think he’ll go top 5. You gotta put prospects in perspective and imagine if WCS comes back for his sophomore year he’d certainly become a more hyped prospect then Len is right now.

            He said MCW not WCS.

Man why does everyone have to have double last names these days.

I have comments on some of mine but it is only March 5th. Once June comes around many people will be focusing on their Mocks.

If you look at alot of Posters Mock, they Update it Daily…I guess they dont wont to be writing Comments each time….

I Noticed only a few Posters have Greek Sensation Giannis Adetokunbo on their Mocks..This kid is only 18..But he’s the Real Deal,he might move into the Top 5 after all of the Workouts are done……

Alot of people are comparing him to Tracy McGrady….

I won’t do comments until the draft order is set. Right now, there’s too much shuffling between teams in the NBA, players stocks in college…so on and so forth.

Because the draft order is very fluid. Most mocks right now are big boards with no team needs taken into consideration.

Basically what Siggy said. At this point in the year the only thing I’ve done is make the top 20 in my mock my real top 20 as a big board.

Inspired by this thread I have added comments to the first round of my mock, if anyone wants to have a look, feedback is appreciated. They are just about a paragraph for each pick, I don’t have time to go in deep depth.

I really wish people would put their career predictions down for each player.

I am sick of ppl saying “I knew Jonny Flynn / Wes Johnson etc” were going to be busts.

If you think someone is going to be a bust or an all-star PUT IT IN WRITING IN YOUR MOCKS….

I like the idea and I’ll do that this year, though I wish you didn’t leave so many blank.

I agree but what I really like is to hear where people think a player SHOULD be drafted compared to where they think they are going to go. Like a quick example is Kenneth Faried, after watching him play consecutive games for Morehead St. and dominating, his level of energy and activity was nothing short of legendary. I remember coming on here telling people that he’s the real deal and everybody needs to watch out. Now I knew he was going to be a lotto pick, but based on the talent I saw I felt like he should of went top 10. This happens every year. I knew Paul George was clearly better then Wes Johnson and told people on the site, but at the same time I knew he didn’t have a chance to go that high for whatever reason. That same year I also thought Cousins should of been seriously considered at going 1st and that Aminu was a top 5 player in the draft. Win some lose some. Like in the Kyrie draft I thought the Cavs should of considered Kanter for the first pick and the Wolves should of taken Kanter or Biyombo. Hindsight is what it is.

Personally I don’t get much time to watch games, I don’t even create my mock until within a month of the draft. That’s when I do my hardcore research and watch videos, cross reference with other users/sites to learn more about the players.

If I had more time to watch college hoops I would, but I barely have time to watch many NBA games. I have League Pass and I watch it maybe 1-2 times a week.

I do like reading everyone’s posts about prospects and the pros & cons, which is why I’m on a year round draft site. I may not post often but I read just about everything that’s posted on this site, I’m always gaining knowledge about prospects even if I’m not getting to see them play.
