TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantI’ll start by saying that I’m a Cavs fan from Cleveland and I will on almost all occassions be a glorifier and apologist for:
Neon Dion Waitors
Every move Chris Grant makes, draft, trade, signing, etc.
Owner Danny G, Byron Scott and all Cav’s players, even CJ Miles who used to be on my most hated list for not doing P90X, despite being a natural athlete who never really gets in great shape ala Ariza. The biggest difference in body composition between them and Lebron is lifting weights for the last 14 years.
The first membership and designated President is granted to Joe Wolf. Please state your case for your hatred of Neon Dion and sign up now. Please don’t limit yourself to only talking about his weight, expand to personality, game, chucker mentality, brashness, ego, etc. Really get it all out. Go down on record as an official Waitors Hater. Please hurry, there is only 82 games left to sign up!!

RUDEBOY_ParticipantLMAO..Unique THREAD..And Uncalled For…hahaha
But Mark me Down in the Category that says he’s going to be special…He’ll never be in the same class as a Kobe or Wade..
He needs work on his shot selection, his conditioning and learning to play smarter…Airballing a 3 pointer only seconds after entering a game and playing to please the crowd, will only put him in the same class as guys like Ricky Davis & Isaiah Rider……But he does have the talent to possibly become an all star in a few years…Its all up to him….

TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantI’m with you, I don’t think Kobe or Wade either but special, yes. I said its only 82 games left because he might be a All Star next year ( I didn’t put that part in the initial post because I thought the hate would be directed toward me instead of Waitors. I didn’t want to still his thunder). Plus I like the fatter Dion not the new GQ Dion. Its like a boxer losing wieght to fight a smaller guy, he always loses. I prefer the tank version that can take contact on the way to the whole that you don’t want to get charged by.
I thought this thread would have 50 posts by now, but I will check back later because a voice in a dream told me last night
"Build it and they will come"

ultrablue123ParticipantNot sure if spelling Waiters wrong on purpose or not…
0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 10:32am #724910

TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantthat did need correcting, however this is only supposed to be for Waiters Haters not grammar, your getting off topic.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 10:47am #724914

King CaluchaParticipantSign me up, too. The Cavs will regret having spent that 4th pick on Waiters.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 10:48am #724915
fcb206ParticipantIll hop on. Cant stand the guy.
my opening line prediction:
22 minutes. 1-9 shooting (including 0-4 from deep) one nice breakaway dunk, 3-4 from the stripe. 5 points, 3 reb, 1 assist and 6 turnovers.
0- Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 11:06am #724920

TRC1991Participant0% chance Byron Scott lets him play all the way to 6 turnovers… by his 4th, Scott will have benched his ass

mj23mj23besteverParticipantwhen the cavs took waiters over barnes i was smh barnes showed in college when teamed with a good pg who puts him in the correct spots hes lethal and it just happens the cavs have a pretty solid pg but no they take a 6th man in college with the 4th pick in the draft
0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 11:00am #724918

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantThank you for this post, I can’t stand him, he misses workouts and gets fat, then gets drafted 4th while doing nothing while guys worked their ass off in workouts, and doesn’t perform up to the 4th pick standards in the summer league. Plus his attitude is horrible I hope byron gets on hims as hard as he did with jj hickson
0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 11:09am #724921

JoeWolf1I gladly accept this nomination. You don’t take a chubby chucker with the 4th pick.

0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 2:13pm #724947
ballaj334Participantwell hes 3 of 6 for 8 in the first half with 2 steals i cant wait for him to shut the doubters up
0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 2:33pm #724949

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantHardly did anything in Syracuse. Won’t do anything in the league but be a less efficient Leandro Barbosa spark plug.
Not terrible but he won’t be worth the 4th pick, especially when Barnes was available.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 2:36pm #724951

ultrablue123ParticipantI’m watching the game because I get the Wizards network and he and Kyrie both are looking pretty good so far. I didn’t see any of Dion’s preason games but from what I can tell he was settling for too many jumpshots. So far he’s been driving it hard to the hole a lot but not really forcing anything, and he’s been very active on defense.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 2:57pm #724959
ballaj334Participantwasnt anything on syracuse? dude do you watch basketball he was the best player by far he only came off the bench because of boeheims loyalty to triche. you know nothing about basketball if you think he barely did anything
0- Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 4:06pm #724975

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI saw an undersized combo-guard that hardly scored and is not a good passer. We haven’t seen if he can defend since he was usually at the top of the zone, the easiest defensive position to play in the game.
There are a dime a dozen of combo guards that can’t pass in this league and they don’t lead teams to titles.

ballaj334Participant17 in nba debut is pretty damn impressive if you ask me ha! barely did anything
0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 3:36pm #724967

corneggParticipantAnyway are we just going to post forums after 0 point games or are we going to do something
0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 3:55pm #724972

TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantWaiters 17, 3 steals 28 mins 6/14 > Beal 8,3,3 22 minutes 2/8
He missed 4, point blank lay ups also. Got fouled on what was about to be a lay up also, could of had 24-25, and wasnt pressing except once or twice.
2013 Eastern Conference All Star starting backcourt.
Joey, I cant wait for your resignation. Only 81 games left.

0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 4:13pm #724977

JoeWolf1Not worried about my stance. I gave him 13 ppg on 38% shooting for the season a couple weeks ago. He also had only 2 rebounds ( 1 came in the last minute of the game) and a 0 assist to 3 TO clip.
He’s a chucker that plays the passing lanes, he’s bound to a game like this every once in a while. He won’t get you rebounds, assists, only shots and sometimes points.
0- Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 5:45pm #725009

TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantthere was none left, those are the starters he played most of his minutes with.
He does stand around a lot though but I think the offense has either him or Kyrie isolated alot with the other on the weak side wing.

Bmore_DCParticipant@TongueOutLike23
barely did anything at Syracuse? LMFAO…did you watch The Orange play at all last year????
that seriously made me laugh out loud…and while Waiters probably wont be a super-star, he will def be above average/good for a long time…
Also i disagree with @JoeWolf on one thing, hes actually a better passer than people give him credit for…rebounds? not so much, but how many SGs really rebound at a significant rate?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 4:54pm #724997

McDunkinIf its ok I would like to take this bandwagon for a test ride…if the wheels are still sturdy after a half season or so….I might hop on (no frank ocean)

For_Never_EverParticipantI’m a known hater on him. I’m not going to go into it, since I’ll be repeating myself for the 3rd or 4th time. Wait until teams figure him out, that isn’t going to take long.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/30/2012 - 7:59pm #725037
3–6 mafiakenny smith just said dion waiters was the second best talent in college after anthony davis.

theballerwayParticipanthe did nothing (based on stat sheet). Thrid pick right . hmmmmmmmmm. Hes the one who shouldnot have been drafted that high. B;atantly. A smallish shooting guard that is a NBA avrage athlete , cant create his own shot and despite the beauty of the relase his spot up shot is far from remarkable or that reliable. I think hes ok n all that but 3rd pick . Hope fully when the tyeams at full strength he can show us more but as for that debut against the guy pick right behind you.

MUbballfanParticipantI must say I am thoroughly surprised with the game Waiters had last night, although it is just one game.

chwweewParticipantOver the offseason Noah worked hard on his game, and it looks like he might bring a dependable jumper to the equation for the Bulls this season.
“When I’m not thinking, I’m just out there playing ball, the game just comes out a lot easier,” Noah said. “I’ve been working on my game a lot and I’m feeling a lot more comfortable out there shooting the ball and all that.”

fcb206Participantill eat a little bit of crow on this one, I seriously doubted if Waiters would EVER score 17 points in an NBA game. He reminded me of a fat Shawn Respert. Now I have elevated his cieling to "fat JR Rider".
I still think he will never be a key player on a contender. we shall see…
