i would like some experts would make alltime list only based on talent..

i mean championships long carrer mvp’s are huge but at time gets overrated..like LeBron he might already is as good as ever but now he barely ranks top10 while at the end of carrer he will be top2 or top5 depends how much tittles he will get..

and it would be interesting where some studs like TMac would rank

I know that MJ is put on this unreachable pedistal but eventually people are going to have to realize and accept that lebron is better and the BEST EVER. it all adds up. the numbers, the awards, just watching him play with your eyes.and people tend to forget, hes still not that old yet. He is still going to acomplish a lot more. But as far as the best players ever, theres no question that he is #1

Numbers? Awards? Jordan has him beat. Jordan dropped 37 ppg one season, and despite Lebron’s versatility, Jordan’s career highs in rebounds, assists, blocks and steals per game, for a season, all trump Lebron’s single season bests.

AND another thing. everyone always says ‘well lebron couldnt win it by himself in cleveland’ ok ok well let me ask this, who in the world could win a title with that team??? DEFINITELY not jordan lol. and to say he didnt deserve the title in miami cause of all the help…its not like jordan was all alone in chicago, he had a lil help too lol

James has the physical talent to be one of the best ever, but its so hard to legitmately be the best ever. James individual talent is immense, but its still hard to make that claim.

Michael Jordan had help, but he never played with another player who could even draw a double team offensively.

Jordan will be surpassed eventually, but it hasn’t happened yet. I think LeBron James has a chance, but I also think the way he left Cleveland and the way he handled his free-agency (plus joined another superstar and all-star caliber big man in their primes) will always hurt him though.

I TRULY HATE WHEN PEOPLE BRING UP THE 6 FOR 6 IN THE FINALS FOR JORDAN.

LETS NOT COUNT AGAINST LEBRON CARRYING THAT TEAM TO THE FINALS.

its a stupid argument that people bring up all the time!!!

so lebron would’ve been better off not  reaching the finals at all????? so MJ is better off not reaching the finals earlier in his career?????…

stupidest argument i know when it comes to lebron vs. mj… and im a lebron fan who thinks mj is the greatest to ever play the game.

but we are not talking about best scorer ever..playing with other great would limited Jordan’s scoring while playing with Wade makes LeBron ever better because you can argue he has league’s best court vision or at least close to it..

like who is the second best ever? for me it’s Magic and he hasn’t avg 25 per game, it;s about his complete game..

It wasn’t about the best scorer… It was about having help. People act like Jordan had all of this help. I mean, Pippen was a great all-around player, but I think people overrated Jordan’s supporting cast. He played with Pippen and a bunch of specialists. Jordan wasn’t on a super team.

OK then..last year’s Dwyane barely was as good as young Pippen, Bosh and Rodman let’s say are different player for sure but both were extremelly important for their teams..after that i don’t see so much great player who was better than Bulls squad

but they still won 55 games WITHOUT HIM when he retired the first time and made it to semifinals, pippen averaged 22-8-5 and horace grant and bj armstrong made the allstar game………..they had to have been good.

Your average athlete gets better every four years, your average player has gotten better four times since MJ’s last championship.  The average player that lebron is being guarded by is much better than the average player that guarded MJ in his career.  MJ won 6 rings against inferior compition to today’s standards.

do you really believe today’s basketball is better than 90’s???? no way except maybe faster and only because today’s top3 centers outside Howard wouldn’t be even in top10 back then

Look at everyone either not understanding what I mean by "trollling" or just not listening to the warning.

BJ Armstrong was the worst pick in All-Star game history… Completely undeserving. Horace Grant was deserving that year, but that was the *only* year of his career that he made it. D. Wade and Chris Bosh are guys who make the All-Star game damn near every season. Bosh is probably a notch or two beneath being a legit superstar player.

I never wrote Jordan’s supporting cast wasn’t good. I wrote they were overrated. They all stepped up when Jordan retired, but other than Pippen and Grant (good starting power forward in general, but no all-star), they were just role/specialist guys who fit in Phil Jackson system. They overachieved the year Jordan retired.

Jordan never played with another wing player who could draw a double. He never played with an All-Star caliber big man either. Those are facts.

Please… 6-0 means when he got to the FINALS he lead his team to victories, leading a weak Cleveland team to the finals was a nice accomplishment but what about the Mavs series LBJ didn’t show up… 6 FINALS MVPs means Jordan was the leader/best player on those championship teams… As far as competition, the Bulls played against teams with HOF talent… Lakers (Magic), Seattle (Payton), Utah 2X (Malone and Stockton), Trailblazers (Clyde), and Pheonix (Sir Charles)… Not to mention playing in the  golden era of HOF centers….

Today’s center position lacks depth because many center are playing power forward.
