mikeyvthedonParticipantSaw this clip on CollegeBasketballTalk:
Luckily Nerlens is alright, not to mention the kid he semi-kicks in the face. Little man took it like a champ, though. What do you guys think about these types of pick-up games? I mean, they are fun and all, but if Nerlens had gotten hurt that would have been awful. Know that most college coaches (pro coaches as well, probably even more so), prefer guys not to play this type of pick-up basketball. Yes, they were just hooping with some kids, so it did not seem like a big deal. Just would have been a major situation had Nerlens landed a tad differently on that missed dunk.

Gob BluthParticipantI’m very concerned about the hand eye coordination and offensive ability of a 6’10ish guy missing a completely uncontested dunk that badly at point blank range. I mean he’s falling backwards for some reason(maybe from another angle it would be more apparent what happened). This obviously is more comical than an indictment on his actual talent but geez my man you’re tall as hell. Just remind yourself to bend the knees, jump and then raise your arms in a fluid motion. If this was a hyped up unkown tall african/european prospect and that was the first video you ever saw of him you would convulse from screaming stiff and praying your team doesn’t take him(looking at you Saer Sene).

Memphis MadnessParticipantGood to see Nerlens Noel can take a hit and finish through contact.

TRC1991Participantis anyone else just shockingly confused how he butchered that so bad? its almost like a gust of wind shot him backwards at 100 mph

Gob BluthParticipantI’ve been thinking the same thing myself. It’s unbelievable.

F_She got rim stuffed!, I’ve seen nerlens miss several dunks trying to put an exclamation point. the second dunk was nasty though

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe’s lucky to come away unhurt after that… He broke his fall with his hands, which is never a good thing.
Also lucky he didn’t hurt his back or tailbone.

bloodHe could kill that little man…and btw WHO DUNKS IN THESE KIND OF GAMES ?!? SMH I saw clips of Kobe,Wade etc. and they all let the kids "beat" them

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantKobe lets no one beat him in pickup watch http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aBdubvErm6U can’t believe nerlens let the wind reject him

TyroberParticipantWatched it a couple times and kinda confused as to what happened? Was he afraid he was going to hit the kid or did he just completely lose his balance? It almost looks hard to do what he did even if you’re trying.

IndianaBasketballParticipantLmao… That’s like the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. Was this video altered or something? Because I don’t see how he could’ve gone up for a wide open dunk *without* contact and fly backwards like that. It’s like someone pushed him, but nobody was there…

ivan138Participantas a guy who played basketball, that defense on 2nd dunk is as scary as the fall on the first attempt. i mean these short basketball jersey wearing dudes will never know what is a damn lowbridge and how dangerous that is

TallmanNYCParticipantHe got under cut by the little kid on the first dunk. Kid is straight gangster doing him like that. Just kidding. But I think that is how he missed it. His legs hit the little kid and that started tilting the top of his body backwards, so he was farther from the rim. He must be very light for the little kid to effect him like that, but that I think is what happened. And then since he was a few inches farther from the hoop than he though he was going to be he brought the ball down on the rim instead of through the hoop.
Second dunk: the short guy fouled him and clearly wasn’t playing the ball. Which is totally bullshit on a play that is just for fun. Save the hard fouls for the playoffs, not for pick up and fun. Just play the ball.

GrandmamaParticipantThat 6 year old kid tried blocking his dunk, lmao. I see that kid as a defensive presence down low when he matures…..He’s my number one prospect on my 2023 prospect list.

LipstickParticipantBill Laimbeer’s son taking action!
The second video is even worse. I guess Noel had no other option than to be a good sport about it, but the guy was in no way going for the ball.
