     I am happy to announce that the Portland Trail Blazers have signed free agent small forward Adam Morrison to a one-year deal.  Morrison, a 3rd overall pick during the 2006 NBA Draft, has suffered many injuries during his professional tenure, and is looking to get back on track and be a key reserve in the NBA.  

    Morrison had a very impressive Summer League performance for the L.A. Clippers, dropping 20 points per game while shooting 60%+ from downtown in 4 appearances.  

    I for one am very happy for Adam Morrison, and I hope he plays well there in Portland as a reserve.  I wish him nothing but the best.

     He’ll probably make a minimal contribution, but I’m glad he found a team nonetheless.

     Here he comes…! 

     

    He’s still a good shooter and there’s always a spot on a roster for a guy who can knock down open shots.
