    The Memphis Commercial Appeal is reporting the Memphis Grizzlies have Gotten Verbal Commitments from 5 players to Attend Training Camp:

    1.Flip Murray-A 6’3 Combo guard that played for the Bulls in 2009-10 season…

    2.Jerome Jordan-a 7 Footer,that appeared in 22 games for the Knicks last season..

    3.Jarrid Famous-A 6’11 center out of South Florida,who playedlast season in the D-League..

    4.Ronald Dupree-A 6’7 vet from LSU…

    5.Micheal Dunigan-6’10 center from Oregon,who the Grizzlies considered taking in the 2011 draft..But instead took Kansas combo guard Josh Selby…

    (With only 1 roster spot open,i think only 1 of these guys will make the team..My bet it’ll be either Jerome Jordan & Dunigan ,both are long athletic guys with the length the Grizzlies need in the West…

    The article also mentioned the Grizzlies have considered giving free agent Micheal Redd a look…

    Flip is a little too old at this point, surprised he isn’t trying to assistant coach somewhere. Jordan hasn’t proven anything and is quite slow.  Dupree is also on the tail end looking in. I think Redd would fit what they need most, spacing the floor with a shooter.

    Flip Murray is a whole year younger than Kobe guys, he may be a bit older for a role player, but the last we saw of him he could still score 10 a game, albiet that was 2 years ago.
