paradigmnParticipantRusisa vs Croatia 18U Fiba European Championships.
Not sure if the link will work for everyone…but….so far it’s a good game,
Half way through 2nd quarter…Dario almsot has double double already (14pts 8reb). He’s also leading the entire tournament in scoring. Dario’s #9

Dario and the rest of his teammates are rocking mohawks….I have 2 say…they kinda make it work also.

aamir543ParticipantMy god, this guy is good! He took down the board, walked it up, and took his man off the dribble and laid it in with ease, he has nice handles, great size, and he makes it look so easy.

Anton123ParticipantSaric is playing as a centre on defense and as a point guard on offense, he is looking very impressive, the Croatian team isn’t
I feel like an insider, understanding what the Russian team coach is saying lol

Anton123ParticipantMy apologies to the Croatian team for calling it unipressive

SoilworkerParticipantgreat game. Saric played very well in the end perhaps a bit tired but when the team needed just shine.
Mavra good player too0 - Posted on: Sat, 08/18/2012 - 10:29am #707322

RUDEBOY_ParticipantWhen he was 16,he was high on alot of people list,i saw some sites had him as the top pick in 2014..And there were some calling him the next Lebron..Becuz of his size, strength & ball handling ability…He’s not on Lebron’s level at all..But he does has an tremendous upside, reminds me alot of Detlef Shrempf……He slipped a little last season..But if he continues to play consistent and display that all around game….He’s going to leap into the top 5 prospects…

seniokasParticipantI was there, just got back home. Saric is really impressive with ball handling ability at 6’10, he is really fluid and plastic, has very soft touch around the basket and obviously great feel for the game. What surprised me a bit when yesterday I saw him first time live, was his body, he has already got pretty nice upper body , though still needs to continue working on it, but his legs are really skinny, I mean he has got strenght in those legs, got hoops, quickness… everything, but they still look skinny and you can’t even see any calf muscles, when most others plaeyers has them pretty visible or at least big calfs, but that’s just something about his look that got my attention.
After finals I’m going to write my thoughts about standout players, not many NBA prospects but overall teams like Spain, Serbia, Lithuania, Croatia has some really nice talent.

Untill recently he didn’t work alot on his body, but in last few months ipruvment is impresive. now he even looks more athletic then he did just few months ago

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantHe reminds me a lot of hedo turkoglu as he has great handles, can run an offense, and is very versatile

pohani komaracParticipantand once again Saric best perormance came into finals. 39 points, 11 rbs, 4 assists, 3 stl, 2 blocks. and he was strugling from peremiter, air ball 3 once, but clutch one was nothing but net
and best part is almost all of his points came difrentley they yesterday, with back to basket or cuts without ball wich shows how he learnd to be efective without ball

lesar12ParticipantSaric will definetly be in top 10 picks in 2014.. he is better than most HSSR’s in USA..

he signed with Bilbao 5 year contract with NBA option after 3 seasons. I think 2015. draft is more realistic

lesar12Participantyeah i agree with you on that:).. but idk why is everyone putting Hezonja in Draft.?? he isnt ready yet and Saric has way more potential and skills.

pohani komaracParticipantbecause hezonja athletic abilitys match nba level. bouth have talent for top 10 draft. hezonja also signed 3 year with barcelona with option to extedn for 4 more years
so neither saric or hezonja will go to nba soon

Anton123ParticipantSaric can still be drafted in 2014 and stay in Europe for another year, like Valanciunas

F_Smy concern with saric is… how much bigger is he going to get?
he clearly has a nice court vision but he’s already 6’10,18 years old and no durant, he’s looking meaty. which could in the future hinder his efficiency as a wing player. his change of direction is already a problem i think and his shot is looking very "power forward-ish", inw.. slow realease with no much elevation or signs of potential ‘off the dribble touch’.
he might end playing in the post as a PF… but he is 18 and i haven’t watched him extendedly so who knows

F_Sroyce white 2.0?… with a low elevation jumper
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/20/2012 - 5:01am #707767
pohani komaracParticipanthe profile him self as PF latly. He is 6’10 and 1/4 wich is taller then most PF today who are mostley 6’9. he has versitale game and can be PF that plays inside and outside. To do that he will have to continiue work on his shoot and add more strenght. He alredy did some ipruvments this summer when he finaly got some time for individual workouts. but his bigest impruvment came in off ball movment. he impruved in setting screans, pick and pops and rolls, cuts or high-low positionig. Also needs to ipruve his defense, especially team defense where he gets lost at time, but this is twice better than he did just few months ago. all that tells how much he is hard worker and that he knows his limitations. and that is most imprtant thing
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/20/2012 - 5:24am #707771
F_Sthat’s the best thing he did, i would’ve guessed he liked the perimeter more and was gonna establish himself as a combo in every sense of the word, which he still might be, to much lesser extent.
and he does show better off ball movement than white btw
the thing that stood out the most was his WILL to take over the game, he wanted to make an impact every play. missing a shot and following it up by calling for the ball again and shooting the same long range jumper and making it.
