F_Si will get plenty of negs, but i will end with the last laugh, as usual.
this guy can be the nba’s best player, im just sooooooooooo hi on him, he looks like insane playing.
his fluidity as some have said, its world class. his athleticism, soft touch everything, defense, passing, rebounding, EVERYTHING.

Ok, but considering Wiggins is only 17, you’re going to have to wait awfully long for that last laugh, lol.

WinterSoldierParticipantThis is beginning to be absurd all the hype he’s getting, let him at very least play college and in the pros a few years before declaring his HOF status.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantYou giving the title of hall of famer to a high school kid who hasn’t played a minute in college is downright blasphemy. Yes Andrew is VERY talented and out of the world athletic but look at how many guys who were supposed to be great flamed out: Darius miles, renardo Sidney, derrick caracter, Sebastian Telfair, Darko milicic,Rodney white, and the list goes on. All of these guys were supposed to be great and look where they are now

ENOGSIWONdedeI had Rodney White in the hall of fame lol

LerinErinParticipantOr even during his Freshman year at Duke probably would have assumed Banks a sure fire HOF guy, willing to bet many guys here. Never even heard of Banks, he ended up a decent NBA nothing more or less.
Pas a HS senior he was considered easily best Philly HS bus. Since Chamberlin.

StevenWHAT IF he sustains a career threatening injury, ala grant hill…. you cant tell. id say wait until hes a rookie in the NBA to make a predicition, like i did for Kevin Durant. *pats on the back*

UNCbasketballbumParticipantthe annointing of 17 year old players in high school yet to play one second of college basketball as hall of famers is stupid and ridiculous. Stop it.

F_She’s like a rose, wall, durant type prospect, sure all star type player.
he’s gonna be a superstar as some people say. i think he can be a hall of famer, and i dont think im going out on no limb. the kid has stardom written all over him any way you look at it.
he’s extreme soft touch and ability to use the glass combined with his outstanding athleticism and very fluid handles (specially on the break) make him a 5 star slasher, and that’s that.
shot needs improvement, and mechanics are not as good as jabari’s (which are excellent) but they are certainly nice. and he’s already shown nice stroke off the dribble.
in defense he has all the tools to be great, and most importantly he wants be great. defense, will ultimately put wiggins over jabari, ala lbj > durant
favorite prospect i have ever seen

F_Sbut wiggins is a work horse who has an excellent attitude and personality, so i read.
you’re looking at the glass half empty, im looking at the glass half full. i think he’ll end up being amazing

F_Sto be fair w/ u, his game does resemble some derozan. but i think wiggins is better overall w/ a better jumpshot as well

raybeasParticipanthype Hall of Famer. Probably his HS’s HOF (or Wall of Fame, Ring of Honor, etc.) I’ll watch him play one game(!) or two in college before I put him in the NCAA HOF. Naismith HOF or NBA HOF will have to wait.

HitsterParticipantThis is the funniest ever topic, Wiggins is a great prospect but we are talking like 25 years ahead, it’s like saying Grant Hill HOF NBA Coach for example
0 - Posted on: Sat, 08/04/2012 - 4:15pm #703447

WizardofOzParticipantPeople need to tone down on giving such high praise to HS players. Just last yr, people were calling Drummond the GOAT C prospect, and before that people, people were calling Harrison Barnes and OJ Mayo the "next Kobe." And there are more examples. He could end up being a hall of famer, but at least wait until he gets into the pros before you starts saying such definitive statements.
